"What Does Everyone Like In Co-ed Wam?"

Despite not producing it before, I've actually been a long-time fan of Co-Ed WAM. But similarly as with my taste with any multi-model WAM, I really love inequality-style videos: where someone gets it, and someone walks away completely clean (and with their dignity intact).
I think there's been a ton of awesome inequality work with the guy getting it from a female model, with the female model staying clean, or a little revenge mess one way or the other at the end of a scene. What I would be interested in is seeing a project that's explicitly set up with a male model vs a female model, with a set up of one of the two being slimed, but with the viewer not knowing the result before purchasing the clip, and to have the scene framed as if the models do not know the outcome going into the shoot (whether this is scripted and staged really well, or if it could be pulled off by competing in an actual game with the loser getting slimed). Personally, I think this setup would drive me absolutely nuts. I'm thinking about producing something like this, and I wanted to see what other people thought.

I'm not sure what the demographics are on the total mystery result, but I'm largely not a fan. I like that they're out there for the occasional try, but I generally prefer to make informed purchases.
While they exist, the coed mystery result vids are rare, I imagine because most of the folks here have a preference, maybe it's a mild one, but for many probably a strong preference in what the result should be, and they will potentially end up with blue balls/vulva if the outcome doesn't go their way. That said, you can always reveal the result via PM if someone really needs to know.
In terms of folks who both like the mystery element and can legit enjoy either gender getting it, you might be shooting at a relatively small target demographic. Worth a try I'd say, but could also throw in some solid humiliation setups where the result is clear.

I love co-ed most when it's real couples who are clearly enjoying themselves. Since I favor female-featuring WAM largely to male-featuring WAM, I tend to enjoy women being the central focus (although scenes where they're equally prominent in the shot can still work for me, I just focus more on the woman). I tend to enjoy when a woman is in a dominant position or being willingly submissive and laughing about it (ie. many of The Fetish Couple's scenes fall into either category, same with Messy M&M). And if anyone is going to be getting messy more prominently over the other, I prefer it to be the woman in the scene; I tend not to buy scenes where the women don't get messy but are getting men messy.

I think you've got the same general options in co-ed WAM as you do in girl-girl/boy-boy WAM. However, I feel like there's an expectation of heightened sexual chemistry in produced co-ed scenes that you'll have to address. You can completely subvert it and keep the messiness platonic or even have it delivered by some third party. But if you want to cater to the "Produced WAM" audience, I think you'll get some disappointment if you have a man and a woman and there's not at least some humping going on.
Not to mention the greater disappointment when those who only want to see women get messy see only the guy take it. I did a co-ed scene once: legitimately played game, loser takes the mess. It was between a dating-in-real-life couple and I was praying the whole time the girl lost. Well she did lose so crisis averted, but I had another game designed for both players getting messy set up afterward anyway. The execution of the mess, by the way, was just like when two girls do it: fun, platonic, not sexually charged. They had a small peck on the lips at the end but that was it.
For your purposes: do what moves you. Maybe it's that uncertainty that means more to you than who actually gets messy. Maybe you'll end up happy just because there's inequality. Only way to know is to try it. But if you commission another producer to make it, please don't be that customer who bitches because he got what he wanted but didn't realize it wasn't what he really wanted. If you've got the time, money, and space, make it happen.

I mostly agree with what's already been said. I love the idea of one model getting away clean, while the other gets messy, but like the others I would like to know the result beforehand.
Personally, I prefer to watch men getting messy, and while I love seeing men getting humiliated at the hands of a woman, I wouldn't actually want the woman to be the central focus.

As for the mystery result--I'm thinking if I produce this I would of course let anyone PM me for the result--and what I would probably do is open up the teaser clip to include bits of the sliming after a period of a couple weeks so that people could evaluate if they want to buy the clip based on the quality of the sliming itself--which obviously is a huge factor too

Best read all week this would so cool to see more especially the random aspects of the models themselves not knowing the outcome I'm all about the uncertainty of the results that seems new and fresh

As ever, the best advice is to shoot your passion, the scene you really want to see, and with a bit of luck that combination of genuine passion plus touching enough people's triggers, will result in sales. And even if it doesn't, you'll get a scene you really love out of it.

As to the usage of surprise, framing a video as if the actors don't know who's getting messy works for the sake of comedy. Whether they're actually oblivious, or just acting, making pies and slime a prank instead of just wam requires the character that gets it not to realize that they'll be messy until it's too late to avoid. I also like seeing the clean person add to their humiliation by pointing and laughing at the messy one.
If who actually gets it is meant to be a surprise to the viewer, then I only see that being a sales draw if there's pov and participation aspect. A few producers have made something like those, but the surprise only gets one good run before it's done. If you instead had a program made that would randomly play one of three videos when executed, then you would have a marketable "participation encouraged" product to sell here.
