If you're there too, stop us and say hi if you see The Wife and I wandering about! We're both wearing red.
Over the years, I've developed an appreciation for these types of Fan Conventions and Comic Cons so I took a look at the website and checked out their Guests and various Pricing Options...
Robert Englund's pricing for Autographs is $200! and $225 for Photo Ops... Wowza. Now, I say this as a Star Trek Fan, but I was not expecting it to be that high, and then I saw the asterisks (**Robert Englund premium autograph pricing: Gloves/sweaters/hats/apparel: $300)
Hope you guys enjoy the con and good luck today, I'm pretty sure Robert will.

I have thought similar things looking at some of the prices. I know there are some cons where the guests don't set the prices for things. If you look at the prices for the same people at different cons you will see the price changes. The other thing I look at as another hint of this is how much they charge on Cameo. When it comes to meeting people, there are not many horror people that I have heard bad things about. Pretty much everyone in the horror community are great people.

Have fun at the con!
No dig at anyone, just hadn't seen recent quotes that high for solo Autographs or Photos. Typically you can get Combo Photos (more than 1 person) and stuff for the 200+ range.
Also, you're absolutely right, pricing varies. Just hadn't seen any in that range for Solo Signatures.

We just got back not too long ago and we got a story!
For the record, The Wife and myself are HUGE horror fans. And just fans of movies, music, and media in general. We have Michael Meyers' and Jason Vorhees' autographs and photos with them already (Nick Castle and Kane Hodder). So we told ourselves that if Freddy Kreuger (Robert Englund) ever comes anywhere close to us, we gotta go to complete the big three. So we paid for and scheduled a photo op with him when we bought tickets back in January and started saving up cash for the day in general.
So, we get there about an hour after the doors open and we book it to Robert Englud's table. There's this huge zig-zaggy line that goes around and around. We get in what we think is the end of the line, but turns out that it actually continued down an adjacent hallway. So we go down that hall only to find that his line had been capped so that he can get to his photo op on time. But we did figure out that he will sign more after the photo op.
Fast forward a few hours. I've already waited in what I thought was a short line, but ended up being 30 minutes to get an autograph from Michael Gross of Tremors fame (played Burt). After that, I'm going through movie poster mini prints as I do every time I go there (our wood panel basement walls are filled with movie posters). And we end up buying what I will call a lot of them. As we're checking out with that vendor, we made small talk about our day so far and mentioned not getting to see Freddy yet or possibly at all. The vendors suddenly hand each of us an exhibitor pass, and they tell us that it works like a V.I.P pass for the event. They gave us their name and their company in case anyone asked and said to just bring them back by closing.
So...we head to the photo op we scheduled...and the passes absolutely worked. We got put into the V.I.P line and didn't wait long at all for the photo. After that, we headed back to where his autograph table was. And holy shit, there was already a humungous zig zaggy line all over again! But THIS time, we were able to stand in the VIP line and get right in!!!
And since we originally thought that we were going to be standing in line for the rest of the event, we realized that we had extra time. So as a bonus, we went to Mick Foely's (Wrestling, "Mankind/Cactus Jack/Dude Love") table and got an autograph and pic.
To and from the falls in a day and with getting exactly what we came for and more.

How often do you two go out for conventions?
We go every about 1-2 years.
If you're big gaming people, check out GenCon in Indianapolis. I plan on going next year.

Haha! that's a great story. Sounds like it was meant to be. That Vendor really did you guys a solid.
That sounds like a great day!!! If Joe Bob Briggs does another Jamboree at the drive-in in Vegas you guys have to plan to come. Such a blast.
I seriously thought Michael Gross had died and that was the main reason there weren't anymore tremor movies. Yeah he was great as the Dad on Family Ties, but man he plays Burt perfectly!!! He is like everybody's crazy uncle that is a gun nut.
Mick's table would have been a fun visit. That dude is awesome and has some of the best stories. Plus he has the most 5 star reviews of any sports figure on Cameo.
Congrats on meeting the man himself! The stars aligned perfectly. I met Bruce Campbell years ago at a con, it was awesome. And kudos on meeting Mick Foley. He's fantastic and I've had the pleasure of meeting him a handful of times.

That's an amazing story! Meeting Mick Foley was a solid choice. He's really one of the best and a very nice person!!! (I'm a big wrestling fan)

That's funny! I've got a couple of friends there this year - I'll have to see if you made it into any of their pix.
