First time poster; been viewing the forum for a while and finally worked up the courage to get an account and post.
So while watching this week's episode of The Big Leap on Fox with the missus, within the first 2 minutes of the show, Piper Perabo (Coyote Ugly, The Prestige, Covert Affairs) gets slammed by a whipped cream pie in a flashback sequence for her character. It was a very good hit and it completely covered her entire face, hair, clothes. Had to hide my excitement/surprise but it is a very good one that you'll want to watch more than once.
Unfortunately, I don't have any screen capture software to capture it but figured if I gave the group a heads up, someone more tech-savy than me could grab the video as the show is still free on-demand this week.
Here's a clean pic in case folks don't know who I am referring to:
Certainly a most-worthy pie target...but did the HAVE to tie back her hair (yes, it goes with the business suit look)? For me, hair pulled back or in a bun is a tell/give-away that something messy is going to happen, or, when not expected, that the production was trying to save time/money (or the model's vanity) by making sure the model/target can get cleaned up fast (i.e., not have to wash her hair or shower).
Thanks for all the great responses. Being new to this it is nice to feel welcomed by the community and happy that I could share this find. Definitely was unexpected and a great pieing with nothing held back which made the scene all the better. Her character typically wears her hair back in the show so not sure if it was done for this scene on purpose as well per an earlier mention on the thread.
Funny enough, I have been looking for some time for a way to open a conversation with my wife about pies in the face (still haven't worked my way up to discussing this topic with her just yet), and I may use this as a conversation starter. Obviously in a more fun way than Piper experienced it
When I read this post, I thought, well, those are all words, but I have no idea what they mean, but Mamma Mia, what a fantastic post Welcome to the visible word, thanks for posting, and if you keep posting this quality, it'll be awesome
HtFn - i just recently introduced the pie topic to my missus. I'd say you have a good opportunity after having watched the episode together recently. You might be able to say something like "remember that scene in the big leap when ____, could we do that together?"
When I first asked my wife, she was definitely confused which made me a little embarrassed, but she agreed to give it a try (I offered for her to be able to get me back so it didn't have to feel too awkward for her). We started simple with shaving cream and pie crust. She did fine, but didn't like food going the shower drain haha. When she saw that I liked it and that it was harmless, she agreed to do it every so often but without the crusts. We tried cool whip one time, and although she had more fun with that, she still didn't like it going down the drain. When I told her shaving cream is just soap, that got the green light going forward.
It won't ever go past simple pie in the face for us, but still that's more than I ever expected!
Best of luck. Take the Big Leap! (Sorry, couldn't resist)
I usually don't care about Mainstream WAM but that was pretty great! Awesome coverage, decent pie/ cream texture, and they actually hold the shot on the actress and don't just cut right away after the hit!
Wow, incredible find! A great pie scene, happening when you weren't expecting it and were just watching a show for other reasons... you are very lucky! (And we are too that you shared it.) Welcome!

I've had this happen in a handful of shows that I've watched over time (Community, Riverdale, Cobra Kai and a couple others). It's great when it's out of no where!

Dude, how could you forget she was in the Rocky and Bullwinkle movie?

If you know of an ACTUAL pie scene on Cobra Kai tell me! The cute actress falling backwards onto a tray of food.... that missed her face.... was a swing and a miss for me. (I'm sure it was good for body/hair WAM fans tho.)
A) this reminds me of the "Popular" food fight (Leslie Bibb gets a handful of pie/cream in her face, pretty good given that the delivery is handfuls vs a regular pie hit), or the "Hang Time" caking (i know, Hurley Tape flashback city, right?)
B) If you've never seen LOST AND DELIRIOUS with Piper, it's a pretty solid girl's school coming of age film (very late 90s indie/Sundance-y drama, for you film nerds out there), and she gets all kinds of naked along with Jessica Pare (PHENOMENAL BOOBS), if either or both of those things are of interest.

Can't wait to hear what happens between the two of you welcome aboard and I hope you get to experience this with her

That was the one. Not so much a comment on pie scenes as much as unexpected messy scenes more generally. I was really disappointed at the lack of facial coverage but it was better than nothing as I find the actress really cute!
The Riverdale scene I mentioned was Camila Mendes (!) getting a strawberry shake poured over her. A decent scene in my opinion, more so than Cobra Kai definitely.
to 'uhhh' - your wife doesn't like the idea of 'food' (Cool Whip) going done the drain...? She does realize that food (and food residue, grease, and waste) goes down the sink drain all the time...and, it all ends up as 'grey water' waste anyways...?
Stick with Cool Whip, it's edible and easily lends itself to foreplay and oral sex...trust me.

Def a wammer
Don't know about that, but u need to be more specific. She was in Covert Affairs but that wasn't short lived. And she was in Turn up Charlie, a short-lived series from Netflix, with Idris Elba, but I saw that one. Notorious maybe?
