First, the reaction to the Chinese coronavirus has been way, way, way out of proportion compared to what it actually is. Although, I hear for a small minority that get it that it can be very difficult so it is well beyond a flu, just not a world-ending shut down everything thing some think of it as.

That out of the way this Pie Machine looks to be the perfect mix of almost pure shit but with just a hint of hope in there to keep us watching. Really, it was tailor engineered to keep up bitching and complaining but not entirely awful enough for us to just tune out or ignore the show.

Brilliant, really. Any worse and we'd just say F-This and be out but with a 1 out of 100 chance of a decent hit on the women (compared to the 99 out of 100 good hits on the men) it's just enough to keep us locked into it's gravitational orbit.

Just chiming in, this show in my opinion is really overrated. Plus it seems like a kids show so I'm not sure why it's allowed to be discussed. Don't care either way.

This gameshow is surviving by nostalgia. In 90's and 2013-2016 the gameshow had great moments, good pies and a lot of fun things. It's sad to see how crappy is in these days.
There is that feeling of "wow, what they did to this gameshow, transform from something fun to watch, to this boring shit thing."
