The Oti gunging was superb! Her reactions were brilliant. Only way it could have been better if she was barefoot. At least the aiming was good this week.
I do feel like I share some of JD_Splosh's concerns here. Today a celebrity got gunged on a kids show, all harmless fun, and yet it appears here on a site where the audience is a little different.
When I was growing up we relied upon the likes of Noels House Party as there were no other avenues of seeing people messy. Then came the likes of Aquantics and Splosh! Magazine which moved things on. Now we have so much amazing content, covering all tastes, all genders and all substances. There are also customs on offer where your exact idea will be catered for.
People know the Saturday Mash Up content is out there so we don't necessarily need to provide links and videos here. I just think we need to be a little careful about a sexual site being in any way linked to an innocent childrens TV show.
I personally think this is ridiculous no offence guys. Adults are being gunged and pied. We are talking about that element. Why do we need to talk about it being a kids show?
What about tv series that have brought loads of warm content like live and kicking which was for kids but loads of adults were getting gunged. What's the difference there?
Let's not turn this into something it doesnt new to be and let us be. =)
I think Saturday Mash up is different than on other show that has come before due to social media.
I actually think most of the votes don't come from kids that are watching the programme. I mean Saturday Mash up, you have to log in and vote, needing a tv license possibly... and i don't think too many kids are asking parents to log in and can i vote.
I think more than half come from 2 sources, Us on WAM sites, yes! but also a lot come from Fans of the celebrities and even friends of the celebs themselves... Most of the people that have gone up for the vote this year have advertised it on instagram or twitter. Alot of told the followers to vote or not to vote for them. So i think it comes from all areas...

I'm talking very specifically about the attempt to rig the vote, as opposed to the sharing of public WAM clips.
I get that the community has always shared and discussed public WAM clips, regardless of source. This is something that I personally am pretty uncomfortable with (imagine, for a moment, that you found out that somebody had taken a video of you shot for another purpose and put it up on a fetish site, and think how that would make you feel), but I appreciate that I'm fighting a losing battle there.
Trying to actively influence the outcome of the vote goes a step further than this. People are actively attempting to get something to happen to someone so that they can get a sexual kick. The fact that the mechanism that they're trying to use is designed for children to vote for a celebrity to get messy just makes it worse.
If you can't see what's wrong with this in terms of questions around consent and appropriate behaviour (which are many), then I at least hope that you'd understand the damage that this could cause to the WAM community. If you were to apply the Daily Mail test to it, imagine the kind of headline that they could (quite reasonably) come up with on this - it's not pretty reading.
I understand the logic that J_Splosh is applying and as CalGungeFan mentioned this is like no other saturday morning show regarding voting to see who gets gunged.
However, if we sit down and work this out, lets say the show gets 2,000,000 viewers (just an educated guess). Now only 25% of those actually vote - so 500,000. 5000 votes make up 1% of that entire number of voters.
I personally can't see there being 5000 votes from the wam community, especially when you are restricted to only one vote. And even if you alter the figures, and lower them dramatically, we would struggle to break the 5% mark, hardly a number to successfully 'rig' the vote! Anything other than that (friends of celebs, fans etc) are down to the celebs themselves posting on social media, the wam community cannot take liability for that, nor the vites and subsequent results that derive from those social media interactions.
As far as the press goes, i'm actually surprised this hasn't happened before now with all the posts about GYOB, MOM, Live and kicking etc... all programs targeted towards the younger viewers. A typical google search links the wam community with either comments on youtube, public posts on here, other wam sites and groups etc. I'd be looking at concluding that there is nothing to worry about and just keep enjoying the of-age content, that is published publicly, on national tv, just like its predecesors, for as long as tv has been around.
The show only attracts about 150,000 viewers. Plus at the beginning of this series they were showing the total number of votes, and back then people were voting 100+ times each. And the most I think they ever had was about 5,000. So I think the community has a MUCH bigger impact.

Can you please provide factual data to your numbers pleAse? Because your numbers seem all over the place. Firstly are you even living in the uk?? Because if you did then you should kno a few things
1 the vote is open to people OVER 13 and under 13s (but you need a parent/guardians email to have that if you fall to that) 2. You get ONE vote only
So how on gods green earth are we rigging it??
Seriously people need to relax and just let us enjoy the gungings and peings without all the politics. May I suggest you open a new thread to discuss this as I feel this is ruining this thread.
I think I'm right in saying that every man vs woman vote this series a woman got gunged? It's hardly a coincidence. Seeing the rallying cries on threads here in previous weeks, it does feel a bit icky personally.

Wow, rude much?! First off, where have i said there is anything wrong with it? I was simply pointing out the statistics and correct numbers
For the first few weeks of the series (And the whole of the last series) you didn't have to sign in to vote. So you could use a VPN, turn on private browsing or clear your cookies and it would allow you to vote again and again and again. There were a number of people who openly admitted (definitely over on EcGunge, possibly here too) that they voted well in excess of 100 times. (And can i point out again, im not judging that, just clearly stating the facts)
So yes, when the voting numbers never exceeded 5,000 (As they publically showed on the page for the first 4 or 5 weeks) when at least 500 votes are coming from this community then there is indeed alot of sway. For example, dispite Cat having just 1 or 2 comments the week the votes were on, yet won a FOUR WAY vote with 58%, you can't tell me that isn't down to the sway of the community.
So, no, my numbers are not all over the place, you just don't like to hear the truth. And as i've (unfortunately had to state many many times) said it doesn't bother me in the slightest about people multi-voting etc, just don't try and pretend it's not a thing.
I agree with the opinion that everyone just needs to calm down a bit, and enjoy the content that comes out of it.
Theres no laws being broken, no harm being done, as someone who enjoys male gungings and not female gungings, yes, it can be annoying to some extent about the continual posts for female gungings, but we get our share of male gungings too so what exactly is the problem?
I usually reserve myself from posting on an increasingly political orientated forums board so probably going to leave this here, but why make a mountain out of a molehill?

I agree with this. Just enjoy the content instead of blaming those who want to vote as you rightly say nothing is being done wrong.

Of course you agree with it . Ok so how about just enjoying the content without trying to rig an innocent kids vote to cater to your fetish

Stop being a troll and causing trouble, if you don't like it no one is forcing you to come into this thread.
I think that's our lot then this series. The final week will be Johnny and Yasmin on QS.
Annoying as it is that they seem to favour boy bands most week, we can't complain. Had a lot of superb gungings this year with Kimberley wyatt, vic hope, the vet woman and oti last week.
I've avoided chiming in so far but I think it's important to make a distinction between being grateful for and passively enjoying the fact that there are some adults getting gunged on mainstream TV at the moment (absolutely fine ), and then conspiring via message boards to rig the vote so that you can get your rocks off at the result that you want (not fucking cool ).
Imagine that the producers get wind of the fact that this is a thing, or even worse the tabloid media outlets who already have an axe to grind against the BBC and the queer/kink communities. It's easy to brush off a couple of "that was hot" comments on the internet because Rule 34 but the minute someone can run with a story that the vote itself was influenced by a bunch of degenerate perverts can you imagine the shitshow that will follow? And do you really think that ANYONE on ANY channel is ever going to make content with WAM in EVER AGAIN?
Seriously, this sort of shit risks ruining it for everyone and those of you who think it's ok to pile in on the voting for this need to do some serious soul searching and maybe do a bit of a read on game theory (or at least google "ruining it for everyone") while you're at it.
ABCD123456 said: So I have no idea whats happening next week. Theyre recording parts of it today, and the description lists Jade Bird (cute of-age singer), a show called "Over the Place" (so presenters probably), and a compilation of the best parts. There doesnt appear to have been any gunge used today, so if there is any for next week, theyre saving it till then.
You would assume on that basis that it's more than likely yasmin and/or johny doing question slime.
Next week the guests are Naomi Wilkinson & Lauren Layfield and a singer called Jade. We can rule her out as the singers rarely get slimed. So looks like it's either going to be between them or Jonny v Yas. Promising

I git a feeling it will be a double one maybe Lauren And Naomi vs Johnny And Yasmin? Can't see it being Naomi vs Lauren which would be superb.
Or it will be Johnny vs Yasmin. I would say then latter. Annoying it's last show as I been dying for Lauren to get slimed she's is stunning.
