So, even though the MessyFun video series is either almost, or at 20 years in some cases, meaning more than likely, zero of the models would still be doing anything in that form or another, assuming they were, and this extends to any of the producers, not just MessyFun (although based on story lines, those lend themselves best to the idea of sequels), which movies would you most like to see sequels to?
First would have to be "Ariel's Pie Shop", based on the idea that she would order pies again, and their feelings for one another would be reset, rather than still being friendly.
The ideal one though, only because it had the best mix of interactions that were flirty yet competitive, and never got into the common complaint area of getting too turned on from the pie fight, would be Excessive Mess 022. A-mazing. I'm guessing the age of the video makes it almost impossible for a sequel, but even though I've never done the "Custom Video" thing, getting those two together again, or kind of ret-conning it with two similar people, I wouldn't complain. All I'm saying.
"At the Messy Movies" had a great concept, with Daizy and Carolyn giving a Siskel and Ebert-type rating to WAM videos (until Chase showed up to challenge the critics in person!). It actually made sense for the anthology format Rob used for his tapes but could easily be revisited with a new slate of scenes.
It would be great to see a feature-length WAM movie with modern production values (even one made up of separate scenes like so many of Rob's and Bill's), but with the market being the way it is I'd be very surprised to see it happen. It's not even that I think plot is so important (although I like some effort put in), but I enjoyed the recurring characters in the linked adventures of "Splatgirl" or "Pretty Clumsy Woman."
"At the Messy Movies" had the best slow burn buildup to a pie fight that I've seen, because you could see it coming, but as someone who appreciates some catty dialogue before they get right into it, it was one of the better ones, and the fact that rather than having a 2-on-1 at the end, it was pretty much a free-for-all.
It's just a shame that the MessyFun organization fell apart after Rob Blaine died (I know, I know, beating a dead horse), but it seems like there could have been more Daizy and Carolyn scenes, based on how well they worked together in the films. I would say their only real competition was the "Frenchy v Tawny" pairing, until the behind the scenes stuff put the kaibash on that.
Nikki Takes on Paris. Yeah, I know that isn't gonna happen. How about Tracy Jordan and London Andrews together again, combining the pie fight in bed shoot with the panty-filling custard shoot? These would be my all-time faves to see more of.
