I have 3 videos at www.messymilfs.com that used 80 pies total in each one. 3 models & 40 pies in each part, first part has them sitting barefoot & all pies go into the face. Second part they have cleaned off & are standing & dancing while getting pied in the face. These volumes are tws-46-0024 tws-461-0042 and tws-461-0050 . Below are sample pics from the videos and links to more pictures so you can see the massive coverage all those pies made.
As far as the most pies used in a full day shoot with 6 models, I had 3 scenes done with 40, 56 and 70 pies used (respectively) all in 1 day. And as far as the most pies I've used in a personal session with a GF that would be 36. I remained clean but she didn't

Due to cost I have only used bakery pies a few times. Although, the Marie calendar, Chef Pierre chocolate cream pies used in conjunction with cool whip makes an awesome time
I've had at least 3 sessions where I've used somewhere in the region of about 40-50 pies. 2 of them, my face took every single one of them (and loved each one ) I've included a pic from one of those sessions. There's about 30 odd in that pic but there were at least another 10 on the desk at the side out of shot
In a personal private session a few years ago in a hotel room I rented out for the evening near where I live, I made about 15 to 30 shaving cream pies in 9-inch pie tins, and had two beautiful women pieing me and each other. I had a blast.
30 huge foam pies.. Took my.pie partner about 50 minutes because we were both cracking up each time I tried to talk through the crust and foam. 75 pies for 2024.
You can't buy pies here so they all had to be made. Took me and one of my collaborators about 16 hours of mixing batter and cream, making bases and putting them together. Started to run out of fillings at about 60 so started mixing flour and paint and cocoa powder and oatmeal and all sorts, then ran out of places to put them down. Took only 48 minutes to plaster the model in them.

Not a huge fan of shaving foam pies, but that looked like fun
40 whipped topping pies for me in a self-wam session. There definitely was a point of diminishing returns of actually hitting myself with the pies at some point, and the amount of time it took to prep was quite long (but at the same time, that helped build the anticipation). The sheer amount of whipped topping used to make all of those pies was quite fun to play around in after all of the pies had been expended. I'd happily do it again, but it would probably be a once-a-year event or so for me.
I got hit with 40+ pies in a meet up once. It was a mix of pies and a ton of fun, but we both agreed it was probably a bit too much as she pied me for like 90 minutes. Wouldn't have changed much though. One regret is not getting a pic of the wall when I was done, we both commented it looked like a Jackson Pollock painting!

The prep time is definitely consuming, but does help with the anticipation, although I must admit I have never used that many in a solo session. I think the most I've used in a solo session was 12.
