Yup, it only took us 5 years... But Melissa's original (and greatest) shoot, SS112, is now fully edited! (And yes DVD buyers, this means what you think it means.) SlapstickStuff.Vidown.com
Enjoy her last 2 clips for a mere $5 each this weekend. Do you prefer Melissa as a bikini bombshell getting pied & slimed on very uneven ground? (Along with a WONDERFUL hosedown... Ahem...) Or you do prefer Melissa as a sexy cop getting repeatedly slimed by the Cream Pie Maniac? (Who apparently also does slime now.)
b) in the below pie pic -- what kind of pie? shaving cream? i just like the "smooth slickness" of the coverage, was curious.
c) racktaculousness! also, pretty smile.
d) i get the feeling sales are meh lately -- sorry to hear, if that is the case? I sense a slight bit of burnout, or at least frustration, from you? am i wrong? i hope i'm wrong. UMD is not UMD w/o you.

I love Melissa, but I don't buy DVD's. I wish I knew what that meant.
Thanks! Yeah, that's a shaving cream pie... I learned long ago that CW pies on top of slime don't stick at all. No point in even using them.
Sales have been very slow for Feb, March, and now April... And apparently it's across the board with a lot of other producers. Not sure if we're truly reaching saturation point but that would be unfortunate. Model rates and supply costs have really gone up in the past 5 years (Carrie's rate is now more than double what it was last time around...) but the WAM audience hasn't really increased.
We'll see. Might just be a temporary downturn. I've got lots of good content coming up and I just hope people want to buy it!

It just means you can now buy the DVD.
[Most DVD buyers that are left tend to buy in bulk... SS112 would be included inh orders because, well, it was a volume on the site! And I'd always have to tell them that it would have to be the RAW discs as the edited version didn't exist. Til now!]
Rich - I love your models and I love your production quality. I've noticed a drop off across the entire board too and I could be wrong but it seems that things have been static for about 2 years. Other than a surprise here and there (i.e., for me it would be Fun Filled Photography in 2014) there are only a few producers and most of their stuff is the same we've seen for years. Very few new models or new messy ideas. I'm loving the new stuff from Messygirl because it includes more humiliation and extreme messes. Have you thought of doing more head dunks or mix in some savory stuff? I would also vote for a temporary ban on green slime and push everyone towards chocolate or something resembling an item you might see in a kitchen or bakery. Green just isn't a turn on for me anymore. Just a thought and thanks for the great work.
I'm far pickier with Vidown content now because the downloads to the UK are sloooooowwww. I bought the new Carrie volume but didn't bother with the med or wide for that reason, and there's loads of other stuff that I just haven't bothered with for the same reason.
Well, I'm paying quite a bit of extra money per month to ensure the connection time is faster... :-S
Beyond that, I would suggest downloading at non-peak hours... For instance, a download at 1 AM Saturday night (EST) goes more than twice as fast as one at 9 AM Saturday.
That extra spend isn't working for the UK I'm afraid, and whilst I know I could do a workaround, in reality what happens is that I'm probably spending about 60-70% less than I was.
I don't know what to tell you. The days of 60MB downloads are over. I can't move backwards and I'm proud to give my customers true HD files at a fair price.
But it's traveling 6000 miles from a server on the West Coast to the UK, plus if your Internet provider isn't giving you the full bandwidth, it's gonna take a LOOONG time to download a file. On the bright side, you can easily get a free download manager app and just set that and walk away so you don't waste your time.

It has nothing to do with MY location tho... It's all about the buyer's location (in this case, the UK) and his Internet provider and the speed he gets.
The reason his speed is unaffected for big sites like Google is because they have a server literally 10 miles away from his house. The Mothership's servers are ALL based in the Northeast US and so if you're halfway around the globe, the download time is simply going to take longer.
Plenty of caching solutions to enable mothership to get speedy downloads around the globe, the physical server location need not be an impediment. I guess it's simply that the economics don't stack up, which I guess is fair enough.

Haha... Thanks for being the first person on this thread to comment on the model. And not the current state of affairs that is the business of my site, Vidown, and WAM in general.
