Anyone ever uses these pies from the frozen section? What were your results? Seen them on sale for like 4 bucks the other day... Could of bought like 20 of then for very little money for the the wife and I. Was wondering if I missed a good opportunity....?

Since you're dealing with dairy, leaving it out overnight could encourage spoilage, and may have a bad odor. Maybe not, but that's the risk.

I would think not. It's described as whipped topping, but there's definitely dairy in all their cream pies, which is what would go bad. If you have the fridge space, overnight would probably do it. Though I'd let it come to room temp if the two of you want to stay warm and happy.

Anyone ever eat a whole one. On a dare?? Is it achievable?

Also do these leave a odd smell after you use them then? I hate spray cream for that reason.

I like Marie Callendar pies. As far as an odor, maybe it's mild at best but I would recommend them if they're going for $5 or less.

Never saw them for less than 5 dollars.

As mentioned... let them thaw. My experience with them is ok at best. I'm not going to turn them down if I had them available. They are convenient, but I would choose other options if I was planning a session.

I have used them in shoots before and here's my take; unpredictable. Sometimes great coverage, sometimes next to no coverage = avoid.

I'd make your own.

I've used them and when fully defrosted they work great.

Thawing per the instructions is key , also avoid anything with meringue in it its super thick and does not provide much coverage and is a bitch to clean up as it does not break up with water.
