It is rumoured this segment was originally booked as Layla vs Summer Rae pudding match to end their messy cat fight " feud " and got changed on the night. Not sure how it got changed but it wasn't Vicky's chosen idea. Apparently the segment was intended to generate buzz and traffic online.

If that was the case and it would of made sense given how their feud has played out. It means still a chance for some sort of messy match between the 2 to end the feud though likely not a pudding match as doubtful they would duplicate it 2 wks In row. If idea was switched it was likely all Vince's call to give Vickie a Babyface send off and allow her to pay tribute to Eddie.

If what I am being told is true, Summer Rae was not happy with the whole angle with Layla and did not want a match in the pudding. Vicky wanted a straight match win over Steph with lots of Eddie gimmicks and Steph had a ton bad blood backstage for not putting anyone over lately and the whole vomit thing last week.

So to me it looks like Summer got bumped and maybe in the dog house. Steph then kills multiple birds with one stone, jumps in the pudding herself, putting Vicky over, showing up Summer Rae and showing everyone how to really commit to a segment and be a " team player " and draw big ( and much needed ) net buzz, leading into the PPV.

Aw, man, we could've had THAT instead of Stephanie vs. that ... uh ... person I'm going to have to carefully edit out at some point?

I'm just gonna spend the rest of the evening crying softly now.

Are you sure this info is from a credible source? I only ask because I'm kinda of huge wrestling fan and I haven't seen that on any of the bigger name sites.

If Summer Rae Vs Layla now happens on the PPV or on the pre show it looks unlikely we will get any more free wam but it's worth keeping an eye on it I guess.

What I meant was I haven't seen anything saying that it was originally suppose to be Summer vs. Layla in the pudding match. Or that Summer was upset about the angle. I couldn't find any info on that. I know a lot of wrestling sites tend to make up rumors, thats why I was curious if the site was credible.

But anyway, like you said its worth keeping an eye on the feud,definitely.
