Yep, you read that right!

Here's how a true actress elevates your stuff: I wrote Lolly a version of "The Audition," which I've used several times before. The actress is always stuck in a never-ending, super-messy audition, often playing the role of some self-centered diva who deserves to get humiliated.
Lolly took that script and played it straight for a while (adding a ridiculous over-the-top "warm up" and some other stuff), and then things got interesting... and better.

First, we changed it so she could stand up at some point. Now she's REALLY getting into it. Pure pissed-off diva energy.... She's getting pelted with pies as her skirt's riding up (you're welcome, hose fans), then she's doing a TRUE fall into the mess... Still covered in pie with legs flying. (God bless her.) And then she says, "Make sure your cameras can capture all this, cuz I'm gonna need some room."
And then she proceeds to have a one-woman catfight with herself that gave me Dynasty flashbacks. If Dynasty had a big messy Bowl Of Glop. And a couple pies. And a sheet cake. And a slime topper.

Finally picked up and watched both of Lolly's scenes and I am ready to hand this woman the WAM Oscar. Holy shit.

Lolly's performance, especially in Scene 2, is literally nothing short of incredible. I could not believe how hard she committed or how much skill she brought to the acting of a slapstick scene.

For those of us whose WAM appetites are tied to its background in mainstream slapstick entertainment, having a model bring that movie-level acting is transformative and so sexy. I'm so impressed with her and can only hope we get to see a lot more out of her.
