It is lovely hear the memories shared by those of us who were inspired by Bill, Splosh magazine..and not least by his gorgeous models with their smiles never faltering as mayhem descended upon them.
The times I did speak to Bill in person and via email he was always very warm and friendly.
Still remember first seeing an article for Splosh in FHM Magazine back in the early/mid 90s which blew my mind (was still scared and nervous to get in touch back then tho)
Always have fond memories of going to Splosh studio's and wish I did get a chance to go there more than I did as it was a lot of fun.
Done a session with my then soon to be girlfriend at the time nearly 20 years so back which was nerve racking as well as fun for both me and the then future girlfriend.
Bill was such a good host and made sure that the session went well for both of us as it was one of the first time I had ever done Sploshing (and definitely a first for my then future girlfriend).
Went for a second time after that with a mate who used to be on here too but lost contact with over the years and we had a fun session with Gilly Sampson which was also recorded (have to get it converted from VHS to digital one day as I have never fully watched it for quite a while).
Was supposed to do another session after those two with some of the lovely models there like Jo, Sammy Jane, Georgie, DD etc but it just didn't happen and wasn't meant to be with Bill's untimely passing.
Such a great loss of gentleman who opened up a world of possibilities and realities that we never thought would of been possible and also made us not feel like we're outcasts for loving Sploshing/WAM!!!
Would love to see another type of Splosh type studio open up in the future but know it isn't easy in these days and times.
Well said Sploshman! Together with Mike (WSM) annual tribute to Bill it is important his contribution is never forgotten. Whilst those of us here of a certain age had the pleasure of meeting or at least conversing with him, his efforts to reassure that our fetish was not weird, and there were plenty of people around who enjoyed it should be one of his lasting legacies.

My sentiments exactly, I agree with you and Sploshman, as I posted earlier in this thread. I have very fond memories of Bill (see my post on Mike's WSM tribute thread). Between us we'll keep his legacy alive and splatting.
One of my first encounters of Splosh was seeing an advert (in a National newspaper), for the video of Pretty Clumsy Woman. The picture of Louise was amazing, and I just had to get it. This started my WAM adventures.
Due to this first moment Louise has always had a special place for me. Her sets were superb, as we're her video performances in Samantha-Jane on the Job, Pretty Clumsy Woman and Gooey Girlies, and others, the whole Louise L'Amour moniker was great.
From reactions from others she's also a favourite. So I think deserves a Gold Award.
Just found this link from Bill's Splosh forums of a topic I made about favourite Splosh models from years back in which Bill did mention a few pages into it what some of these legendary ladies were doing at the time or had retired completely

The amazing Rachel Stevens, not to be confused we Rachel Stevens the 'cough' singer from S Club 7, who while a guest on Dick and Dom in da bungalow ran off mid episode as she didn't want to be gunged/pied. Anyway, I'm digressing, back to our mighty Rachel Stevens.
Rachel is a absolute star of Splosh, featuring in many of their photoshoots and videos. Always up for a really good sploshing, with gallons of slop, happy to take the lot, always with fun and laughter.
Covered in custard with Samantha-Jane in the original Gunge Hill episode. Then completely deluged with mud, custard ketchup and syrup by Karen and Robyn in the Return to Gunge Hill.
The epic news reading scene(s) from Gooey Girlies, soup, custard, porridge, treacle, eggs and more, I actually remember getting splosh issue 25 and thinking 'how much gunge!!!'
Her appearance in 'Nightmare on Gunge Street', with the epic pie fight.
Slime Suspect, another photoshoot with masses of food paint ,and then the video (again with Samantha-Jane).
There were many others, wil lots of food, paint and mud, all superb. Which means, yep, Rachel definitely gets a Gold Award.

Karen, Rachel, Robyn, Amanda, Sammy-Jane and Louise were regularly seen in Escort, Razzle, Fiesta and appeared in a number of the Razzle Romp sets.
They also appeared in a number of Wamtec scenes as well.
Gilly who appeared in many Splosh shoots, had her own offshoot site 'Gillys Silly House, which, as also run by Bill Shipton was done in the same style as Splosh. It also featured Anne-Marie in a various photo sets with Gilly (although Anne-Marie was also in Splosh magazine and some videos).
As to what happened to them, I'm not entirely sure to the best of my knowledge:
Sammy-Jane: unsure Karen: retired from modelling, went on to run a fish and chip shop (I know what I'd do with the batter) Rachel: unsure, but something in my head says she went on to run a B&B (but could completely wrong) Louise: had a successful website, but retired from modelling, believe now lives in Spain (again could be completely wrong with living in Spain bit) Emma: unsure Robyn: unsure, had children, retired from modelling. Gilly: last heard was still active doing custom shoots. Amanda: unsure Anne-Marie: unsure Joanne: unsure Helen: unsure Mouse: unsure, but still active I believe.
Long post...sorry, have some more pics to easy the reading.
Emma went into theatrical design. She was a student at the time of the heyday of Splosh magazine & Buff films. Louise Hodges was another early stalwart. Bill directed some mainstream Splosh shoots in top shelf magazines involving her and Marie Harper, including a memorable chocolate porridge set in Club. I thought she got married & retired to the USA but who knows.

Thanks for the update on Emma. I remember some of the top shelf messy sets. Although I can't recall seeing the chocolate porridge set in Club. Any idea which issue (volume and number) this was in?
Joanne Bache appeared in many Splosh shoots and videos, notably the photoset for Slime Suspect (not the video as she was replaced with Samantha-Jane), the videos Samantha-Jane's Messy Wedding, getting covered in paint, pies, custard. And her presenting skills in the video Juicy Pairs, ending with the classic messy scene with Emma.
Jo also appeared in many WAMTEC videos doing wetlook/underwater scenes as well as messy pie videos. And appeared in some WSM production films (A Few Dollops More and others).
Appreaing in many top shelf magazines and soft porn videos (BJs and Vibro action), Jo ran her own website as well where she showed off her amazing legs.
Jo wasn't afraid of getting completely caked in mess. And for this gets a Gold Award as a Legend of Splosh
The amazing Sammy-Jane, she has appeared in a number of Splosh photoshoots and videos and given us some epic scenes. Her comic performances and facial expressions are as good as the amount of Splosh she takes.
Main billing in Samantha-Jane on the Job, Samantha-Jane Messy Wedding, the food stealer in Slime Suspect, the waitress in Pretty Clumsy Woman. The amazing 3 girl Birthday Bunfight in Gooey Girlies (as well as the photoshoot in the magazine), the custard pie consumer test as well as numerous other videos for Splosh, wamtec and Gillys Silly House.
Sammy-Jane, was also been covered in various amounts of food for photoshoots in Splosh and Gillys Silly House, and no shying away from a barrage of pies, custard, porridge, treacle, eggs, beans, ketchup, paint, and everything in between.
As well as top shelf magazine nude sets and messy sets in Razzle etc.
Sammy-Jane also looked after the studio with Bill, and after Bill sadly passed.
She is definitely a Legend of Splosh, and deserves Gold status.
