"Girls pieing/wamming Men-- mainstream memories"
When I was growing up in the 1970s and 1980s, it seemed that 90% of the WAM content on television was men getting messed up. I HATED it. I was into women getting pied-- not men.
Well, I have changed over the years. My first love is still women getting pied or sploshed, but now I really like women pieing men scenes too. In fact, I really like playful slapstick between women and men generally.
Wondering if others also like women humiliating the man with mess and, if so, what are your favorite scenes in this regard? I am trying to collect mainstream clips from my memories (e.g., Donny and Marie -- Marie always got the best of Donnie, etc.) but would like to hear your suggestions. Love it! I'm the same way! Grew up loving the girl getting the mess, now my absolute favorite is when the woman just humiliates the guy with mess I love it! One of the best scenes I've seen is Ally McBeal season 4 episode 22 home for the holidays. It's a great messy humiliation with great audio as well!
I remember that threes Company scene. There were others where Jack got it. I too didnt like to see the man get humiliated back then but changed since then and now my favorite. I do remember the 70's where there was a plethora of that. if a guy was two timing, you always new he would get caught and have something dumped on his head.

My progression was similar to CKCP's. I'm a huge fan of "women messing men" and that Ally McBeal scene is just the perfect example! The guy is well-dressed and looking very well "put together'". He's totally destroyed by his new girlfriend in front of his ex while the crowd laughs at his expense. Meanwhile he just sits there and takes it all. Perfect!

As much as I love seeing women get messy and getting Misses messy, I experienced the SAME THING! On TV, always seeing the men get it while the women stay dry. I hated it! But I also grew to crave it and love it... there's just something double subversive about it when a women is really dominant. I know that this is new, and it's our own content, but the Misses and I are trying to recreate that more especially because she is a pro dominatrix in real life. I hate humiliation, but playful or erotic scenes where both get messy has become a turnon for me in some cases. I've read examples of how once the guy's face is messy that its' fairly easy to imagine yourself in his place. Before it was just seeing women get it, but around when i discovered Wam Stories I became more open and even getting turned on by just the thought of the woman (or women. One clip I've tried really hard searching for was a from a random show I caught in the year 2000 or early 2001. It was some sort of a live show, either a game show, variety show, or maybe even a special of some sorts. I never saw the show before or after this particular clip, and by the time I wanted to know what the show was, I was too nervous to ask my parents out of fear that they would know I was asking because of the pie in the face (spoiler)
Anyway, the show was returning from a commercial break and had a male and female as hosts. They were sitting in front of the audience and there looked to be a lot of older people in the crowd. The woman was on the left and the man was on the right of a bench that was directly in front on the audience. There was a audience member to the left of the female host and she handed her a pie, which the woman turned and said thank you to her. As soon as she had the pie in hand, the male noticed immediately and exclaimed "mmmm pie!" So the female follows up by saying "I'll give you a slice/piece as soon as you're done saying goodbye" The male host laughs it off as he begins to sign off the show, scooting away from his cohost as he is doing this. At one point he goes "I'm just trying to get out of here in a hurry" or something to that affect. I think the shot cut back to the woman for a second as she said goodbye, and as she was doing this, the man got up from his spot and took off while she followed close behind him.
They ended up running around the set/backstage area a couple of times. She chased him around once and realized she couldn't catch up to him so she cut through part of the set and hid while he came back around the area a second time. As he was running, he turned around to see if she was still behind him and as soon as he turned back around, she either stepped out or was standing there with the pie and ran right into it. I remember the camera had a great shot of the hit which had him run into the pie, and then he was sent backwards a few steps while flinging a little bit off of his fingers but his face was still pretty covered. Then he just stood there hunched over with the pie on his face while the woman sat off to the side of him laughing at what she had just done. There were occasional shots of the audience laughing too while the credits rolled, and that is where the show ended.
I've inquired about the show before, because I could never find the source or who the host was at all. I know for sure it wasn't AFV, or AFP. In my mind, I remember thinking the host looked a little like Alan Thicke from growing pains, but I couldn't find anything that he did around this time that fit the description. I was also thinking it may have been the Osmond talk show from the late 90s, but that show is only survived by random videos on Youtube. Plus the crowd from their shows looked nothing like the crowd I remembered from this random show I saw.
But that's my mainstream memory if you will. On a side note, if anyone may recognize and suggest a show to me based on what I put, that would be amazing. I've actually been considering posting this on r/tipofmytounge because I want to know what the show was so badly.

I seem to remember a (UK) TV Ad from the early '80s, advertising Kitchen Towel (Kleenex?). The subservient husband (Henry?) cleaned up various messes made by his wife as the advert progressed (and much to his disapproval!). The ad culminated in the wife extolling the cleaning capabilities of the towel and finished with slamming the thickest, creamiest pie right into his face; rubbing it in for extra effect. She then exclaimed "Poor Henry!" as she dabbed a little off his cheek with a piece of towel. I just remember wishing I was in his place!
Suffice to say, I have scoured YouTube without success, but hope it exists somewhere else.
