I strongly agree with you on this one - I can't stomach the thought of using meat or fish of any kind in a WAM session for much the same reasons you've stated.

Plastic wise I'd agree as well - I've become a lot more conscious of that in the last few years as well. I now use a base layer of heavy tarp and a layer of cheap fabric over the top. When finished the fabric goes in the wash and the tarp gets a wipe down then gets packed away for another day. Doing this has cut back a lot on what I'd usually throw away.

The only food I feel bad about wasting is honey. That's really the only food I refuse to try, although I'm sure it feels amazing as it looks. Can't do it with the bees working so hard to make it

We have no reason to feel bad as no food is ever wasted; our chosen medium is deep natural outdoor clay, mud, and quicksand. Cleanup is easy too - leave it in the hole in the ground where we found it.

Not personally, no. Given that Cool Whip is mainly a processed oil product, I dare say it's not even "food". That's just my take on it, but I also have a fairly narrow set of things that I use anyway. Cool Whip, maybe some instant pudding from time to time, and that's about it.

That's such a great question ok I'm one way I try to use things that take the least from the environment like mud for example with food I was collaborating with someone and a lot of pies where involved I actually got hungry and wanted to eat one it was a key lime pie and was delicious but while doing the session I realized hunger is more important.

So what I started doing is eating if I'm doing wam for example if I'm painting myself with marsh fluff I eat it so that it's not all going to waste.

I don't use honey but Blake is still inspired with what he did with it in wam photography.

Soap paint has been more common for me than food and the foods I do use are liquid based now.

I wonder if their is a market for gunge and pies and slime that take no toll on the environment or economy as far as clean up and waste is concerned.

I don't fell bad.
I do pies with emulsifier, sugar and soda(guarana/sprite/fanta) or I buy whipped cream. So I don't think about anything, isn't wast of food. I just want to have fun and think about my fetish.
