Sometime around 10-20 years ago (I can't remember quite when) there was a hubub about a new women's wrestling show coming to TV. It wasn't GLOW, but it was modeled on GLOW, with lots of humor and slapstick (and even some pies). The name of the show started with a male promoter's name, but I had no idea who the guy was. (Jimmy something, maybe.) Lots of google searching, searching the forums, and looking at my own posts back to 2014 didn't help me remember it.
The best WAM scene IMO was when two wrestlers playing cafeteria ladies started pieing their opponents in bikinis or cheerleader outfits, and then pied wrestlers dressed in 50's poodle skirt gimmick who were sitting in the audience.
I ask em, I eventually answer them. With much more searching, it was Jimmy Hart's Wrestlicious. To keep things on-topic, the pie scene I mentioned can be witnessed 21 minutes into episode 8, which is on YT.
Absolutely love that scene. Amazing reactions from the super cute 50s chicks. It's pretty rare that 5 hot girls get pied all at once.
Wish the camera work was abit better, but all in all a great scene. Would have loved to see revenge on the neck brace girl, had the show gone for more seasons.
As a side note that girl in the neck brace was known as Brooke Lynn was Becky Bayless a wrestler who got humiliated alot on the indy circuit including one pie face that seems to have been lost Also one of them who did get pied (The Cheerleader Amber) would later be known as TNA knockout Madison Rayne

It was called Wrestlicious. It was started by this young guy who won the lottery but unfortunately because Wrestlicious tanked and other failed businesses I THINK he lost it all.

Not to nerd out and be pedantic, but the Wrestleicious story is fascinating and, from all the versions I heard, Jimmy Hart's (and Brian Knobs' for that matter) contribution to it was essentially to take money from the 19-year-old lottery winner whose idea that was. Mistakes were made all around, though. At least buy the studio so you have something to show for it.
But who am I kidding. I'm almost twice as old as that guy was when he started Wrestlicious and I'd do the exact same thing if I won the lottery--just with more WAM.
I remember Wrestlicious. It was cheesy and kinda funny but also doomed to fail. At least they left us with this great rap. Cousin Cassie makes me feel all kinds of ways.

Interesting. She's quite attractive. I'd lvoe to discover some of those scenes.
Sadly they seemed to have been lost to time (and to be fair they were shot by fan cams of that era so quality not that great) so sadly they will likley remain in the wrestling Wam If only group along with infamous OVW pie fight that we only have one or two distant photo as proof if even happened
