Absolutely get that. I never thought I'd enjoy it and part of me genuinely thought I would start crying if it ever happened me. A lot of the experiences you are relating here seem to have very problematic consent issues. Whether a fetish or a fundraiser or whatever, nobody should be being forced to get messy or do anything else they don't wish to take part in.

Yeah I can understand that. This was around 25 years ago and I don't think it would fly today. However I would caveat that (for this occasion at least) I understood it was a forfeit and I wasn't being picked on and that despite not wanting to get messy, I did end up having a lot of fun.
Again that's specific to that occasion. There were times in the scouts were I was gunged and that wasn't the case (I had a bad experience where a head girl gunged me as part of an initiation into her group without actually telling me that's why I was being gunged so it just ended up feeling like I was being picked on) so I definitely agree with your point.
