I don't see why not. People are already asking about next year, especially some who can't make it this time. But I like the idea of it growing organically. I like that this is simple and we're just coming together on our own terms to meet and have a good time. Maybe it could be a real convention some day but why rush it? I'm corny but I thought of calling it our Wamily Reunion.
By the way this is about people first, not wam. Stop worrying about it being a sausage fest, or a bunch of awkward porn fetishists or whatever. It's about shaking hands and having beers with people you've only ever known and grown fond of online. A lot of people, as I say, "came for the wam and stayed for the friends." That's really what this is about.

^This^ To me, this was always about getting to meet some of the people I've only had the pleasure of talking with here. Secondly, it was about doing something for myself for a change and having a good time.
Going back to the idea of a "convention". What would a WAM convention even look like? Conventions typically are weekend venues that are comprised of mostly vendors, with some Q&A panels, some shows, and events. They tend to take a ton of planning and if they aren't profitable, die out in a couple years.
The things that tend to bring in first time con goers are the guests. At comic cons these tend to be television and/or movie stars, followed by well known comic artists, etc. Return goers are drawn back from past experiences, and people they've met there.
The closest we got to stars is Leila with her foray into the B movie business with former WWF wrestlers , and our mysterious producer Alana.
As far as locations, I would think ours would have to be something more like a camp ground with really muddy surrounding, or maybe Hershey Park?
