Can any #wam pie fight experts identify this vintage pie fight from an unknown 30's film This one has myself and other pie experts I know stumped, so if anybody knows what film this is, let us know.

I've seen this someplace before, and not all that long ago.

Can anybody make out the sign on the hood of the car? It says, "(Some name) Pies". It looks like "_ utnam", but I can't make out the first letter.

It *was* billed as a very rare clip when I saw it.

Thanks, Regis! I *thought* it was on here that I saw it, but I couldn't remember the context of the original thread.

I had never heard of it until that thread. From our standpoint, driving around and throwing pies at people and then laughing about it sounds fun (not counting the time in jail for "assault" )

But I can see why Leonard Maltin considered it a dreadful movie!

Even as a long-toothed vintage fan myself, I'm ashamed to say I don't recall seeing this before. Great clip, although if someone put this out now, there'd no doubt be complaints about the excessive use of tins!

As for Leonard Maltin calling this film "dreadful"....it goes to show how non-wam critics have a totally different perspective
