Hey everyone! My wife and I are looking to get messy with paint during the summer, probably with liquid paint for some body painting.

Could anyone recommend types, brands or non toxic paints to use on each other, please? We're in the UK, and definitely looking to avoid difficult to explain skin staining, etc!

It depends on what type of paints/colours you want.

Mehron do a metallic powders that you can mix with baby oil for a shiny gold/silver look. It's not toxic. You can get it from Amazon

Never had an issue with kids poster paint. Things like dark greens etc may stain the skin though in areas such as underarms etc.

You can also buy Mica powder off ebay which is non toxic for mixing with baby oil/sunflower oil/ coconut oil for the metallic effects (and is much much cheaper than Mehron!)

We're aiming for a colourful session, but I did look at Mehron being a possibility. Thanks Mj118938!

Thanks also gungymate63_1980 - might well give kids poster paint a go as well. Apparently there's a brand of Crayola specifically designed to be edible and non toxic, so that might be one to look at as well.
