I feel no shame for what I did and would do it again Flex. Fake or not until a rule is broken or someone is negatively effected by the actions everyone has the right to come in here and be who they want. Am I so naive I don't think cat fishing exists? Of course not. I know it does. Are things always what they seem? Of course not. That is why you have experiences and learn from them. While not a negative experience, I had an experience that has caused me to be more careful of purchases I make. Does not mean it was wrong or right. It just happened. Same thing here.

You claim that this experience has made it harder for women to come here. I think people that hound women for pics are what makes it harder. Regis was not wrong with his statement about being bombarded for pics. I have also seen people using this to make it all about them and trying to guilt members about something they were planning.

Look at the movie that won best screen writing and was nominated for best picture "Her". The only difference between Sinamon and Her is that Her was actually AI and not someone's imagination and that Sinamon had a physical all be it plastic body.

I think there is enough room here for people with all manner of kinks. Being more inclusive does not hurt anyone.

I didn't hound anyone for pics. How dare you suggest I did. The only thing I actually got wrong was that it was a doll rather than stolen photos, because frankly that was an insane twist nobody saw coming. Everything else I was 100% correct on. It is not abuse to correctly call out a lie.

(It would have just been easier to back down and apologise, but y'know. But thanks for reporting me for being correct about something and trying to protect other community members from emotional harm and potential extortion. Job well done.)

I would rather give someone the benefit of the doubt than be so afraid that someone may get taken advantage of that we have to check people at the door. How do we know everyone has good intentions? How do we know that everyone offering customs isint going to one day decide to pull a bait and switch on the custom and not deliver everything as paid for? How do we know someone is not going to lure a person into a relationship just to con them out of money? We don't. Nor should MM or any of the mods be shouldered with the responsibility of vetting everyone to protect from that. There is a lot of overhead involved with that. If the types of methods were out there to completely prevent people from being conned or scammed, the police and other agencies would be using it by now. Simple fact is, there is not.

What proof do you have that any of the negative situations you have dreamed up would have ever come to fruition? What evidence do you have of the persons intentions behind your hypothetical situations? Just because the account was deleted does not mean you were right. It does not mean that I was right for giving them the benefit of the doubt. The reasons they left are theirs alone.
