This happened after a very bad ketoacidosis attack landed me in the hospital for four days. Any of you deal with this? If any of you fellow diabetics can give me some of your personal tips, it would be much appreciated!
This is rough man. I am a type 2. My Dr. gives me 5 insulin viles a month to take as much as I need. This approach has kept my sugars in range more than anything. Something that I found out that multiple Dr's. have documented, my right hand is 30 points different from my left hand. I use a Freestyle Libre 2 sensor from Abbott and it is about 70% accurate when it stays on and doesn't error out.
I know we are on the opposite side of the diabetic spectrum, but it can be managed.
