This came up in another topic so thought I'd post the full story here. When I was much younger I was on the BBC Game Show Run The Risk. And I suppose I have that to blame for this fetish, well that and another gunging at university but I'll save that story for another time.

My main memories of Run The Risk were how cold the gunge was, I did two gunge events as part of it. The first one I had to collect gunge in a bucket that was poured from above and run and pour it into a container till it reached the line, there was a lot of falling over.

The second was the final challenge which included going down the slide into the gunge pit at the bottom and gunge falling on me from above. We then ended the show in the gunge before getting out and walking on towels to the showers.

I remember Run The Risk. It got me into the scene as well. Though I'd never been on a show (Funhouse was a favourite of mine).

I remember the celebrity episode where they'd primary got folks from Byker Grove on. I think a number of them can - or could - be found on Youtube.

It's nice to hear your experience of having been on. And yes, please do tell us about the time you got gunged at uni.
