Are you a frequent hula hooper ? I have looked at this for strengthening my back as I have Fibromyalgia I thought it would be good in general for helping core muscles. Can you tell me which hoop it is as there are loads on the market......Xx

Being conservative, some would say cheap, I'd suggest starting off with the least expensive model you can find.

This is a 44in travel dance hoop, tho I started off with a weighted 1.5kg exercise hoop and then switched to a 2.5kg one when I got the hang of it.
Try and avoid these ones with a plastic hoop and smooth foam as in my experience they wobble around like a bastard, if you go for a weighted one get one with a metal hoop while you're learning the technique.

Absolutely don't just buy the cheapest hoop you can find it'll be a crappy kids one, won't be the right size, will bend all over the place and will make it harder for you to get the hang of it. You'll wanna spend £25 or more, if you just find a hoop shop online they'll have a guide to choosing what will be best for your height/weight
