I have a question about making good sticky mud, I am trying to recreate MVPBleck mud but have not been able to get the same kind constancy, I have tried bentonite clay mixed with pottery clay, I have used corn starch but it goes bad and molds quickly. Any ideas that people are will to share?
I've also yearned to chase that grail goop of mpvbleck! From my own research, it looks like there is some sort of silicone-based isomorphism to corn starch's non-newtonian properties that may be more mold-resistant, but I'm sure it would be prohibitively expensive to scale up to our desired usage.
I've also experimented with mixing bentonite clay with HydroPam (polyacrylamide). The Pan is basically water-absorbing powder that creates a very slimy gel. Mixed with the clay, it's extremely gooey (vids coming soon)!
