After introducing some mud play to my GF, (nothing too involved, just putting it on our bodies, to give her an intro) she's expressed some interest in getting more involved, with a caveat.
Her main question was: is it OK to get mud in her private parts? How do you guys do it safely?
The mud I use myself is mostly pottery clay, always disinfected with antiseptic (Dettol) and I never had a problem, but the GF is very yeast-infection prone, so I wanted to make sure it's safe for her.
And since we're at it, I plan to take her to play outdoors one day. What about natural mud? How do you ensure you are not infected with germs and stuff in the soil outdoors.
Thank you guys, TMM
P.S. Anyone here based in Thailand? Wanna get to know more of the community here.
Others will better be able to answer the sex questions, though I'd be wary of sex in anything that had antiseptic in it - pure, fresh, and clean would be best.
Regarding outdoor mud play, the main thing to make sure you go somewhere clean - avoid anywhere with either agricultural run-off, or anywhere near industrial areas that may cause pollution, and away from urban areas - basically get into the countryside.
We regularly have girls in the mud and no-one's ever had a bad reaction or infection issue, though it may help that we only do fully clothed mudplay, so there's alwatys at least a swimsuit or bikini pants between the girls' sensitive areas and the raw mud. Our location is out in the country and the rivers in the UK are well monitored for pollution.

if Jayce sees this she may weigh in on it cause she does this all the time and is a pro at it.

I can help a bit with the last part mud does have germs but it also boost a part of your immune system it's more helpful than harmful depending an a lot of variables but if your close to the ocean or a lake or a waterfall as long as the mud your around or in is by moving water the key here is moving the water that moves Carys the bacteria someone else least the harmful stuff but again their are to many variables for me to say it is or it isn't check the place your going for where the water is coming from and where it's going.
I mudded for about fifteen years and about four of those were seriously mud-soaked summers.
No, I didn't always wear panties. Things entering my vagina simply didn't seem to be a problem. I plopped myself into various and diverse mudpits with the same confidence other people dive into water at a beach.
But everybody is different.
Your girl friend has a tendency toward yeast infections. I don't. So, to Google I go!
So, after reading that, I'm going to recommend that your girlfriend keep her private parts well-covered and change as soon as possible into dry things when she's done mudding. You don't want to change the chemistry inside the vagina to give the yeast a toehold.
This would go for both kinds of mud -- the pottery clay and the natural mud. If you read this, it isn't only dirty things that are the problem. Detergents, body wash -- even douche (actual vagina cleaner!) can help the yeast grow.
Once you've covered her private parts, have at it! I wish you loads of fun!
@Goprodude I totally had Jayce in mind when I was writing this post.
One other question if you guys are still here: what about getting mud in your ears? I personally head dunked before and had no problems, but I heard some people got some nasty infections. Some people even recommend stuffing your ears with cotton or ear plugs to keep out the mud. What do you guys think?
I'm not the person to advise on vaginas and mud, but I will say that a well fitting pair of latex panties will keep things out very effectively if you're concerned, and are fun to wear in their own right. In tidal mud, it's best to avoid it for a few days after heavy rain, as that increases runoff that can carry problematic bacteria - the same advice they give for swimming in coastal waters. And regarding ears, the mud definitely gets in mine to some extent. I rinse out as well as I can with clean bottled water immediately after getting clean. It's never caused me any infections or other issues in a few years of regular mudding, but I do keep seeing small traces if I clean my ears out with a Q-tip even for weeks afterwards, so it seems to naturally work its way out, just very slowly.
Hi If you are in private with "homemade mud" then in my experience it'll be fine provided she cleans well afterwards. Clay is inert and not prone to bacterial growth provided it is fairly fresh. I use a diluted baby's cleaning solution to sterilize if it's been left for a while just to be safe. Ears i would putin cotton wool to stop ingress. However i can't believe you'll be submerging?!? Enjoy!
Hi, I've got some experience with my gf, so maybe it will help you a little. I introduced her to Wam few years ago (when we have been about one year together, now we are almost six years together) and she likes it very much. So we do wam with all kind of substances (Chocolate, sour things, oatmeal, youghurt and other things), but mud is the most favorite for both. My GF unfortunately has, like yours, yeast infection very often, she was at doctor, but nobody knows, why she has it. So at beginging we started to wamming fully clothed and only with oatmeal and yoghurt, when everything was OK, we tried fully clothed mud in quarry and everything was also OK. So next time, we tried mud when we were fully naked, but gf takes tampon to protect her vagina. And again everything was OK, so we decided to try it without tampon and again, nothing happened. And then we decided to try sex in mud, when we were fully dunked, after that she was a little irritated inside her, but no infection at all. From that since, we had often sex in mud (outside in quarries, swamps and all kind of places) and yet without infection. But everyone is different and your gf can have infection even she is clothed and with protection, So my advice is to try it slowly, without hurry and in small steps, after muddying try to wait some time to confirm that she is OK and then you can continue to the next level.
And about protect ears, when you want to dunk in mud. Because, when i was child, I had often Otitis media (disease of the middle ear), doctors said, that I can have problems with diving and my ears can hurt, in the future, because of this disease. So I always wear a piece of cotton plugged in my ears, to fully block mud to get inside my ears. It is a little uncomfortable, but its for my safety and its practical, when I wash myself, it only takes few seconds to unplug cotton from ears and I had my ears clean.
I remember reading on here previously that clay is in effect 'air tight' as in it won't contain oxygen the same way water does- so this'll naturally inhibit the growth of micro-organisms below the surface.
If you want an outdoor experience and are still worried or can't find a suitable area- you can always sink an inflatable pool into the ground and fill it with your own clay.
I used bentonite clay and drywall compound. If I were to do it again I would stick to one or the other exclusively. She didn't have any issues regarding infections but for a day she had clay coming out of her pussy. I'm sure if the pottery clay is fresh it shouldn't be an issue
One other question if you guys are still here: what about getting mud in your ears?
After we'd had a muddy session once and cleaned up my wife went off to a work meeting. She tells me that it was only half way through the meeting that she realised that whenever she rubbed her ear a little trickle of dried clay ran out of it and onto her shoulder. She then described trying to discretely brush the clay off her shoulder, while wondering quite how to explain it if anyone noticed!
