So me and the girl are planning a gunge bath and I ordered 10 of the regular sized packages of gunge from messy supplies, we are using it in the bath tub. Does anyone know how much of the tub will be filled by this amount or if it is enough for a gunge bath? I'm wondering if I should order more. Each pack makes 10 liters so I should have about 100 liters. Not sure how much a standard US bathtub can hold. Ether way pretty excited.

According to Google a standard US bath tub holds 42 gallons of water, in liters that 158 and change liters of water so. hope that gives you an idea.

Bathtubs tend to vary in size, you're better off measuring it (in metric).

Length** (cm) x Width (cm) x Depth (cm)= total volume in cm3
total volume/1000 = total volume in litres.

**measure to the middle of the slope if the back of the bath is sloped.

In general you won't want to fill it to the top, as it'll slop over the sides when you get in- so take 2/3 of the volume as a rough start.

You also might want to buy enough bucket space or an inflatable pool to put your gunge in after, giving the bath back back to get clean between sessions.
