Heya! I recently received a partially used 100L bulk container of MS thick gunge powder. Was wondering if anyone knew the weight of a 10L bag of thick MS gunge so that I can portion it out correctly?

Usually, 1kg = 1litre

At least it was when I was at school.

I've just weighed a few unused packets I've got in the cupboard.

MS Extra thick (uncoloured) weighed 300grammes (coloured is slightly heavier as there's powder paint added) 350grammes

These packets are portioned to mix with 10 litres of hot water to create 'extra thick'. The 'standard' gunge is the same stuff, just sold in a smaller portion!

So, there's a lot of scope for adjustments to personal taste. I preferred it less thick (more water) as it's really too thick to pour in full concentration and better for something like a bath.

Just a heads up the amount of powder pigment in each pack changes quite significantly depending on the colour used- yellow (I think) uses the most pigment.
