Simple as that, when you're watching someone take a pie do you prefer watching someone deliver that pie to their face or them pieing their own face so solo self pie.

Never been pied by anyone other than myself, but being able to share in the mess would be ideal. Would love to be able to pie and be pied with another person, but until then a good self pie is still fun.

Never been pied by anyone else either but definitely watching someone getting pied I prefer there to be someone doing the pie-ing rather than a self one.

If we go back to first principles, and the legendary scene from 1930s movie "Battle Of The Century", the ultimate place to receive a pie isn't to the face - it's to the bottom.

Near the start of the pie fight, the well dressed woman who is the first female pie recipient gets it square on her bottom and down the back of her dress. And then, towards the end of the pie scene, the lady who slips and sits on a discarded pie, her skirt spread out around her, and quite obviously enjoys the sensations both sitting on it, and then when she stands up and walks off, still very clearly reacting to the feelings of the pie mashed into her underwear, but invisible as her skirt falls back into place.

Pies in the face can be brilliant fun (and in my case I prefer two or more girls pieing each other tit-for-tat, rather than self-pie), but the lore clearly shows face pie is secondary to bottom pie.

I wasn't aware of this scene before your post and I went and watched it. I enjoyed it a bit more than I probably should have lol
