Do you describe the scenario and then they give you a quote? Or do producers usually ask you to "make them an offer"? I'm just wondering how it usually works for you guys (producers please answer too!)

The reason I ask is because I'm interested in having a custom made but not really interested in making an offer. I tried several months ago but apparently the offer I made was insultingly low, so I asked what would be acceptable but they did not reply. So I just want to understand what is the norm for customs!

I would think the norm is to say "I would like X girl, doing (scenario), with this (mess/ wetlook) in this (outfit/ nudity level). How much would that cost me please? Then you either accept the quote given or try someone else.

Pivoting to another question: are any producers doing explicit male-female customs these days? I can go for either full nudity or X-rated, but I want to have a custom with a couple in which they're both willing to get naked.
