So there is a collection of like nine or so photos that were posted eight days ago I think and they are tagged in the Male category but they are all photos of girls. So I reported them with the "Wrong Tag" report and then I checked back a few days later and they are still there. So I go to report them for being in the wrong category again only to release that that option is now missing when you go to report a photo! I have no idea where it went or why it was take away from me............I'm also wondering if that option was taken away from everyone or only just me. So I then proceed to report it with the next closest thing which is "Broken Link" because it's wrong and that technically works. I then come back a few days later and all of them are still there! Meanwhile I report another newer photo in the wrong category with this "Broken Link" report and it gets taken down the very next day. So it appears as though these photos haven't been corrected because I was using the wrong report category! So why haven't any of these photos that I keep reporting being taken down? Why are they still up and in the wrong category even after I reported them twice?
Bear in mind the UMD is effectively run by one person, and he has a hell of a lot to do. As to the reporting option for wrong gender being missing, isn't that just because you've already reported them? Click the report link on a random other pic and see if the option reappears. I've occasionally reported stuff for various reasons but I've never actually checked back, just assumed it'll get sorted eventually.
What we're the pictures of, we're there guys involved at all? Bear in mind unless you have the strict setting on, then filtering for male just means the all-female content is removed, you'll still see co-ed stuff. I have it set non-strict female, so I see all female and all co-ed.
Aside: my autocarrot is really messed up (and not in a good way), just tried to change non-strict to non-Christian! Hmm, MM, can we have an option to filter on religious belief of the model, I only want wild Norse wenches in my feed, Hail Odin!
Bodypaintguy said: Yes there were only females in the pictures. That's why I've tried to report them so much! Should I post a direct link here?
Might help to see the context, yeah. I can't think why anyone would post all-female pictures and tag them male, unless either they usually post male content and hence that's what their default is set to, and they forgot to change it, or the pics were part of a larger set that involved both male and female (in which case I'd expect them to be tagged co-ed, not male). Post a link to the thread they are in.
Those posts are followups to what's a female tagged thread, if I change my filter to "all" instead of "female" the thread shows a "female" tag. Most of the posts in the thread are about female models. When you post a pic in a reply to a thread, you don't get any options to set the gender tagging so it's not as if those posters could have marked the images as female (or male).
TBH knowing its got content you're not interested in, just ignore that thread?
No, it's not the thread that concerns me. It's the fact that all of those photos appear in the Picture Archive under the Male category! And the fact that no matter how many times I report them, they just still stay there . I really wish that I could correct this error. They are indeed tagged as Male when they are indeed Female so they are wrong. And reporting it should work because they are wrong.
The thread is tagged female, as far as I can see there's no way to tag individual pictures (unless the mods have this option), but all the reports on everything to do with the site go through MM, who is insanely busy.
Honestly? I'd say just ignore them. We have a fantastic resource here in the UMD and it's all down to one person's hard work over the last 18 years. It's non corporate and entirely for the community. Occasionally bits of it don't work perfectly but by and large it's pretty solid. I've no idea why those images are showing up where they are but really, are they such a big deal? I often see male wam images I have no interest in, and very frequently see hardcore images I really don't like (I'm only interested in fully clothed WAM and nudity, and especially sex, male or female, is something I really don't want to watch), but I just skip over them - there's loads of other stuff I am interested in to focus on instead.
You've reported them, so the report will be in there somewhere, eventually they might get fixed, or might not, but as more male content is posted they'll get pushed down and out of sight eventually. One thing my almost 50 years on this rock has taught me is that often it's best to just relax and ignore the stuff you can't fix.
