They are the new patriots. It's been fun rooting for them, but interesting watching them go from media darlings to the villains of the NFL. This season was wild. I can't believe we made it all the way to the Super Bowl yet again.

Many people can't either. Especially with all the games that a call one way or the other just happened to help you guys score in the final minutes of the game.
Man, I actually thought of you and the wife after celebrating. Tough loss. I've been there. Chiefs lost the AFC championship game during the last season Brady played for the Pats due to an absolutely terrible call. I was so disheartened, I didn't even watch the Super Bowl that year. Probably the only time I've done that. The Saints got fucked by the refs in the NFC championship game the same year. Anyway, I truly empathize. The human element of the game can be very unfair. And I will be the first to admit that the Chiefs have squeaked by this year about 90% of the time. It's been kind of amazing. Josh Allen and the bills are going to have their time in the sun soon, I would bet on it. He is a monster quarterback.
Im a Jets fan, ngl, I wasn't exactly rooting for the Bills, but as a Jets fan, I 100% empathize with you on the heat break of this loss, sincerely. I'm so indifferent and uninterested in the superbowl this year, I'm actually rooting for it to somehow end in a tie just to watch the rage and anger of all the fans lol it's the funniest outcome to me

I hope Josh Allen does, but unfortunately that would mean that the Chiefs have to lose and I don't see that happening. The NFL likes ratings and Swifties will watch the games because of the Taylor connection. Nothing against Taylor because I like a lot of the stuff she does and the work she does signing people up to vote and shit. Yes I know this is conspiracy territory and they could just be lucky like Tom Brady was with the Patriots and all the bad calls that bailed his ass out. I am still bitter over the tuck rule.
If WWE can be scripted and not fake at the same time, the Astros can cheat their way into the world series with basically no real consequences, the whole shit with the Lakers dynasty with the NBA, then football can be too.

This is pretty funny. And I see what you're saying. It certainly seems like the refs are most definitely favoring the Chiefs this year, much to my glee. But I can't buy the conspiracy theory that the NFL is rigged when I watch the games; it's obvious the players are trying SO HARD. And while calls are missed on a regular basis, it goes both ways for all of the teams throughout the season. Plus there's one thing that sort of settles it for me: you can bet on the NFL. You can't do that in professional wrestling-- because obviously, that stuff really is scripted entertainment. Football is a legitimate sport. And a complicated sport, at that. Unfortunately, only so many plays can be reviewed due to time constraints. However, I firmly believe that in major-league baseball, the Homeplate umpire should no longer be able to call strikes and balls. We've had technology for decades now that immediately show if a ball is in or out of the strike zone. OK, let me get off that tangent. This has been a fun thread.

Yeah it could never happen in the NFL. The NFL would never allow the ref team of Brad Allen continue to operate with a lot of controversial calls under their watch. Come on dude, take off those KC blinders and look at the 10k view for a minute. I never said the players weren't athletes. They are absolutely athletes and doing their best for the most part. I do think that there are some that don't always give 100% or feel like they need to look out for their "brand". Refs are human and humans make mistakes, sure. The fact that there is at least one team of refs that consistently make bad calls is beyond the mistake category.
You can bet on WWE, here is some Google help. https://www.thesportsgeek.com/sportsbooks/wwe/#:~:text=Bovada%20offers%20WWE%20bettors%20the,the%20underdog%20for%20the%20match.
