I like the sentiment of it and the fearlessness of doing it in public... plus it's for a great cause. The pies... Eh. Spray whip cream in a tin=You get what you pay for.
I'm not sure if the "Doubtfire Challenge" is gonna take off like the "Ice Bucket Challenge" (yes I did it this weekend), but wouldn't that be nice? Thus far the only vids I've seen have been not-especially-attractive older women and predictably weak pies.
I remember these girls from another WAM video they did. Had a look at their channel and it's still there. Involves pouring milk on each other then (as with 90% of their videos) making out
Oh, I remember these girls. That was a great video.
They're a cute couple and seem to really love each other.
What's really funny to me though is that I saw a tweet a few days ago about some guy be completely bewildered by a girl walking up and pieing herself in the face "For Robin Williams" and now I know what that was all about.
It can be a little confusing until you know what it's about. I think a lot of people don't remember (or never saw) the scene in "Mrs. Doubtfire" where Robin Williams takes a cream pie and puts it in his face and passes it off as face cream (to hide his identity).
And the girls don't say what it's about. So it's kind of a kamikaze pieing that suddenly appears in front of them and a lot of people don't know why.

It would be a nice way to honor his memory. But I don't think that most celebs would be up for pieing themselves and the ice bucket thing is something that EVERYONE has to do at the moment so there probably isn't enough room for two campaigns.
Huh. I like the milk bit a lot more than the pie one. Good job.
I'm actually gonna upload a free clip soon which is Shelly & Serena's tribute to Robin Williams... Although we actually shot it months ago, so it wasn't intended as a tribute. But I was in the process of editing this clip anyway when he died, and one outtake segment immediately jumped out at me. Odd how that happened.
ANYWAY. This is cryptic but it'll make sense when the video shows...

They're going to grow an amazing amount of chest hair and ramble at 400mph?
