I was amazed that the food fight was on the very 1st episode of this show! It set the tone for many more slapstick antics between the two gorgeous sexy blondes!
(Several critics said that when there's a food fight in a show, it's because the writers have run out of ideas. They said that the show was in trouble already. But it ran for 3 seasons.)
Regis & Kelly talked about this scene on their show, and then re-enacted the food fight. Regis acted as if he got either ketchup or mustard in his eye and that it was burning. When Kelly let her guard down to see if Regis was ok, he nailed her with something!
I think it was both Faith Ford & Kelly Ripa, as well as the oldest daughter on the show who ended up hiding in a shower in a later season. Someone turned on the shower and they all got soaked!
There is also a nice paint fight in Season 2 Episode 18 "Hope Couture". Won't post it here because there is a kid in the scene (not part of the fight). But look for "Hope & Faith 02.18 - Hope Couture" and go to around the 16 minute mark.
