Something a bit different from Saturation Hall today - a "one stays clean" scene!
It was the end of a day of dungeon fun, and Honeysuckle really wanted to get gunged one last time. So, special dispensation from the House Rules having been obtained, Maude obliged to deliver the messing, remaining completely clean herself, while she reduced Honeysuckle to gunge-drenched ruin.
Honeysuckle wears blue Hugo Boss jeans, black plimsolls (sockless), and a black long-sleeve t-shirt, tucked-in to her jeans to ensure a clear view, and gets slowly and carefully obliterated with red and pink gunge. There's shoe filling, jeans-filling front and back, the back of her shirt gets filled, and the entire outside of her outfit gets drenched. And then once her clothes are completely covered in gunge, she takes a full gunge hair-drench and facial too, and finishes with one of the gunge buckets placed over her head. Buckethead!
Maude wears blue jeans, black boots, and a spotty plastic raincoat, done up and with her hood up, to ensure she remains completely clean and dry while she utterly destroys the all too willing Honeysuckle.

I forget the exact details, as this was shot 8 years ago, but it was something like Maude had a deadline where she needed to be elsewhere, and that didn't allow enough time for a scene plus cleanup, but Honeysuckle really wanted to be gunged one more time. So we came up with this as a solution, Maude would, one time only, stay completely clean and dry, while she still got to destroy Honeysuckle. Having the plastic raincoat handy meant Maude could be fully protected from splashes, with the hood up to protect her hair.
Very rare for us, but this genuinely is a "one stays clean and gets away with it " scene. I think there was a vague plan to eventually use the coat in a cutting scene but don't think it ever happened - will have to see if it's still in the collection.

Usually, under the House Rules, that would be a thing, however given the number of times Maude got enthusiastically messy on her own, it was decided she'd more than earned a "stay clean pass". Though needless to say there are *lots* of other scenes still in the can where Maude got very messy indeed.
Yeah, nice isn't it, looked great on Maude. A charity shop find as I remember, will have to find out if it's still in the collection. We're planning a major stocktake this year, get shot of stuff we're never going to use - I did go through a phase of buying loads of things that "might work" but then finding much better stuff later, while the "might works" have just been sitting in boxes for years taking up space. Will keep a lookut for the coat while doing so, it would be cool to actually gunge it at some point.
