It's High Summer 2022, and as June this year has 5 weeks, there's a bonus extra hose-down and hair-washing scene on both Saturation Hall and Langstonedale.
This time we get to see Honeysuckle and Lady Jennifer, both dressed in navy blue jogging suits over swimsuits, hose each other down, and then thoroughly wash each others' hair with lashings of shampoo, on their return from a day at the mudbanks.
Their swimsuits are the ones they were wearing as underwear beneath the clothes they wore in the mud, so were already wet when they pulled the jogging suits on over them, which is why they both have damp patches showing on their jackets, the wetness having transferred through during the carriage ride back to the Hall. Not that a little dampness matters when they're about to hose each other down!
By the end of the scene they have both lost their jackets, had their hair very thoroughly shampooed and conditioned, and pose for us in wet swimsuits and completely soaked trousers. Both are barefoot throughout.
