Hi there. I've used custard powder or just custard powder. Avoid flour. I used flour water and poster paint and it felt good and everything but it was a nightmare to get out of my hair. Hope this helps.
Tbh I'm a little stuck for things to use because I live at home it's basically what ever is in the house so it's a little restricted but thank you I'll bare custard in mind
I've used cornflour, mainly due it similarities with Xanthan Gum, I added water and colouring first then the cornflour and mixed. There's a video on how to do this, it's different to my method, plus turns out better gunge.
Sorry to contradict doesit4u but i would avoid squirty cream! Goes watery very quickly and it's one of the worst stinkies i have known for lingering! I couldn't dhuft the smell of my hair /skin for ages...was at college at the time and it caused some funny questions off mates!;!
5 parts flour, 5 parts water, 2 parts cooking oil, add some kids poster paint then blend with a food mixer. Awesome! Will not get stuck in hair but looks and feels great. Cheap to make too.
Thank you everyone for the ideas everyone in the end I settled for a jug of shampoo there should be pictures up if anyone is interested I'll keep all your ideas for the future
You can get xantham gum from asda in the free from section. Mix with hot water (8litres roughly) and you will get a nice smooth but thick gunge. You must let it cool down first though. It's an ok cheap alternative to proper gunge powder, however, never as good as the real thing!
At our prices it's got to be easier to just use Gunge powder. Our 24 litre packs come in 3 separate colours and make a really thick Gunge. Washing away is easy as well.
Lol yeah i remember the bad old days of using a bit if bubble bath or shampoo just cos it looked a bit slimy and its all i could get my hands on...then the internet happened and i realised that other people had this crazy obsession do it was time for my own flat!!! Gotta say..nothing beats natrasol
