Hi wetlook fans - I'm going on my holidays soon and I have a private pool to play with and I want to create some killer wetlook content.

Im fully aware that I'm going to get a variety of different responses here but having not really dipped my toe in to wetlook really I was looking to hit the right notes. -

I've always preferred to see wetlook clothing, visible underwear under clothing. Classic black bra under white blouse. But that's just me. What ever you do will be amazing. Have fun

Great idea! i've always liked your content. personally i would like to see a full outfit like you would wear outside or to work. so like a tight jeans, socks, boots / shoes, a belt, a tight sweater tucked in jeans behind belt and maybe even a jacket and/or glasses . Also slowly getting wet is a big one for me, if it's going too fast and you get totally wet instantly somehow i enjoy it less then for instance you would get wet slowly, but that's my preference maybe haha. anyway would love to see more wet and messy content from you anyway so looking forward to it!

For me I like seeing formal outfits, dresses, gowns nice skirts stuff like that. I like seeing accidental wetlook where you either fall in, get pushed, or accidentally turn on a shower head for example. I don't mind seeing it done on purpose too but the main thing is the outfit for me. Slow or fast both are okay with me.

I love seeing a girl going in the pool with a t-shirt and shorts over her swimsuit.

Awesome to hear that you plan on trying it and I hope you like it. I have always liked seeing it as I think women look amazing soaked in their clothes as well as doing it myself and going swimming fully clothed. Try out a bunch of different outfits and see which you like the best and what is the most comfortable in water. I've worn pretty much everything myself in a pool and have found that I enjoy wearing jeans with a long sleeve button down. I love seeing women wear jeans and shirts in water. I also love seeing a wet white shirt where the bra is visible through it. I also love when a woman will just jump straight into a pool getting completely soaked from head to toe instantly. I say have fun with it and enjoy it as it can be fun.

So i've always liked the more casual but classy look for wet look on a woman, a nice pair of sneakers, socks, jeans, and like a nice button down shirt or polo or t-shirt/henley and then like a blazer/Jean jacket or light jacket. I don't know what your style/wardrobe is but I used an AI program to generate some potential looks for you (I would've made the girl look more like you but since I don't have your permission I don't want to violate your privacy). Let me know what you think of these types of looks.

The proplem with wetlook is it's a saturated market.

Ok, pardon the pun but there is an insane amount of competition largely because it's the easiest of the WAM genres to do and also easy to combine with a nice holiday - rent a villa with a secluded pool somewhere nice, spend a couple of days shooting a dozen scenes in different outfits, spend the rest of the week holidaying, claim the whole lot against expenses.

It often seems that 99% of the world's wetlook is models in jeans, mainly because the vast majorrity of the world's wetlook producers seem to expect the models to wear their own clothes, instead of providing wetting outfits for them, so the models wear older stuff they don't care about soaking and possibly staining if they're going in the sea or a natural lake or river. This is why those utterly hideous low-rise jeans that were in fashion in the late 00s have hung around in wetlook scenes for so long, stuff that otherwise would be relegated to yard work or house painting.

The trick to standing out in the wetlook market is to combine good photography with outfits that really look good on you, and that you're happy and comfortable in both dry, and wet. Every wetlook fan will have their own specific taste, and jeans are in fact great wetlook clothes because of the very distinct colour change when denim gets wet - but wearing what you particularly like and enjoy will bring stand-out results in general.

Traditionally wetlook was always fully clothed - UMD is an outlier in allowing nudity in the wetlook forum, the general "rules" are no nudity and no standard swimwear. You can do wetlook in more full-coverage swimsuits that look more like normal clothing, swim dresses and leggings, or surfing zip catsuits, etc.

Something to be aware of, some people like slow wettings, other prefer fast ones.

So for instance if shooting at a pool and there are steps down into the water, do some scenes where you leap in from the side in a big splash and go instantly from dry to wet, bit do others where you step down the stairs one at a time, or slide yourself in gradually from the side, so the audience can watch the water level rise more slowly up your clothes. Still others might like to see you standing, dry, poolside, and then have buckets of water thrown over you, or a hose used to soak you, before jumping / wading / falling into the water. And of course you can also do shower scenes.

Another difference, some people like to see you getting wet, others are more interested in seeing you move about while soaking wet.

Underwear visible under wet clothes was already mentioned

Some (very specific) suggestions:
- Downblouse with/without bra, e.g. looking down at you from the side of the pool.
- White panties that go see-though and are shown both front and/or back.
- Light-colored top that goes see-through and footage shot from a lower angle where the (sun)light from above is visible between the breasts (as a lighter patch in the fabric), showing more curves.

The latter a bit hard to explain, if you like i can send you a dm with a screenshot of something similar. Just let me know.

Of course if these are things you want to reveal

There are as many specific sub-genres of wetlook as there are people who are into wetlook, so the best advice is probably to ignore all advice and do what you want!

However, personally, one of my favourite wetlook looks, which I think is under-represented, is sportswear, especially sports leggings, along with trainers and socks and a tight top, maybe with a second layer over the top, initially. I have observed that it is hard to photograph this style well, because it doesn't retain it's wet look for more than a few seconds. Depending on the fabric, there's often little to no change in colour. It's sometimes more about the additional shine that the water gives, as it drains out. Maybe its the non-obviousness of the wetness which makes it hard to catch on film which leads to it not being so popular. (On the other hand, I think the "secret" nature of this type of wetlook adds to the appeal for me, when I wear it, myself. Ie the fact that I can be fully soaked in public, among people who have no idea that I'm even wet!)

Maybe because of this difficulty of catching the wetlook-ness of this type of clothing, I really enjoy photos when the model is half in and half out of the water, either because she is getting in or out of the pool, or she is in a shallow part of the pool, or in those first few seconds after she gets out.
