Huge art nerd here. You should probably avoid acrylics for a shoot like this (assuming you did use acrylics) because to get more lightfast and long-lived color the pigment used can include things that are toxic, especially yellows, reds, and oranges. Some are toxic to breathe, some to have skin contact with. The really toxic ones tend to be way more expensive (because they also work really well), so you are likely safe.. but who needs more toxins in their body?
As many people have pointed out before, tempra and/or finger paints tend to be a far better choice as they tend to have less toxic stuff in them.
