You have all seen this pie scene that Lenny and I did in 1997, but it was heavily edited and released in a Keystone Kops speeded up footage style, so you might be interested to see the raw footage to see how we made that scene in real time.
This was a tricky shoot for Lenny and I to figure out, because Lenny had a pie fan sponsor who insisted that he wanted to see a girl with a pumpkin on her head all the time, and Lenny and I were not too keen on covering up the girl's face all the time, so we reached a compromise whereby Tracie could remove the mask later in the scene so she could get pied. We were staying a remote location in the Florida Keys and not able to get our usual baker George to truck in some pies, so Lenny had to buy shortbread pie shells and fill them with whipped cream instead, and that was not so good because the pie shell crusts kept breaking apart when the girls picked them up. But, the show must go on, so we managed to get the scene done. Sorry about the abrupt ending to the clip -- I have to cut things short when the girls start touching each other and stripping because the YT bots and trolls will flag me and get the clip taken down.
Before somebody complains about the wobbly camera work, please note this footage was not from one our official cameramen, and was shot by one of Lenny's "clean up crew" pie fans who was staying at our madhouse, and amateur pie fans with cameras tend to get excited and wobbly when we start messing up our models. Lenny had a regular crew who would volunteer to shovel up all the mess, as their ticket to watch his pie shows.
It was done that way because we always intended to speed up the footage and edit it in a Keystone Kops way, so there was no need for audio from the girls.
