Great to see two of the newer girls in action. I'm sure we all have our favourites on MostWam but it's also really good to see some of the interviewees returning. I'm hoping to see more Jem scenes in the future

Really trying to get on board with these, but they're just not working for me...which as a childhood fan of a show I'm not sure I'm allowed to quote any more, I do genuinely find confusing!!

I've been trying to work out why, but the only thing I can come up with is the transition from clean to messy. With the gunge tank this is more gradual and random. With the dunk tank it is literally clean to messy in under two seconds, With the exception of what I'm lovingly calling the "bog roll doll inversion process" seen in one episode, there is little variation in the messy process each time.

Anyway, I'm not moaning and appreciate this is probably what others have been waiting for. I guess what I'm working round to is GTG has always been my thing and with these videos now being released alternate weeks, my videos of interest has been halved per subscription period. Is the plan to continue to alternate from now on or is there potential for one day to become a dunk tank/gunge dunk/mud dunk update day?

I'm glad someone else bought up the alternate weeks between Gunge Dunk and Gunge tank girls... I too, will always prefer Gunge tank girls over. Gunge dunk.

No one is criticising Gunge Dunk... But, like this update, is very different to GTG. Yes, one girl stays clean but it just isn't GTG

I'm really disappointed they have gone to Gunge tank girls alternate weeks with Gunge dunk. Its one of the main reasons i brought mostwam tv membership was to have a gunge tank update every week. I know a few other people feel the same way.

Gunge Tank Girls is now to me a piece of wam folklore. As Lisa said when introducing the live episode at the UMD event 'GTG is probably what we're most well-known for'. (It's also by far the most appealing thing about Mostwam for me.)

The first couple of gunge dunk tank episodes have absolutely stormed it as top download for ages and being the top selling videos on UMD right now (Which seems more impressive considering they were made available to mostwam.tv subscribers to watch on the same day)

But I do agree that they seem like pretty different entities and could quite easily justify their own place in the Mostwam schedule. I do find the gunge dunk tank videos enjoyable to watch, but I would be sad to lose half of GTG's weekly slots.

Possibly, this is where the rationing of Mostwam updates to one a day and keeping to a seven day cycle is becoming a bit restrictive. I completely understand the reasoning for the one update per day and would never expect this to change.

But now all 4 weekly messy updates on Mostwam.tv rotate between different variants of themselves and the 3 wetlook updates all get their own weekly slot with nowhere near as much variation.

Added to the weekly updates of the Liz and Claire era GTG going from a weekly episode each to having to share a weekly slot (being replaced by dunk tank updates getting an update every week.) in the re-encoded section.

It seems to have been a bit of a disappointing time for fans of the gunge tank recently.

If you decide to change it;

Maybe release Gunge Dunk scenes on solely on UMD store for now, as it is very popular on here? You do that with the restaurant scenes... so going back to weekly Gunge tank updates

Or have Messy Dunk segment update per week, where you put Mud Dunk, Gunge Dunk sole like the Millie one, and Gunge Dunk Girls all together in a weekly update? (maybe you have to put it on a day where there is another update too, wetlook maybe)

Or you could have a gunge dunk update once a month on a gunge tank girls day... So per month there is 1 Gunge Dunk to 3 Gunge Tank Girls updates... Thats better than alternate weeks

I don't know, there are quite a few options

For me the reason that Leon and Lisa are still at the top of the WAM game is that they have kept evolving, trying new ideas and new models. It's only a couple of years since they started to offer customs and now we can order our own choice of scene with their range of different models.

Thing is that if all you have is gunge tank scenes every week there is a risk it becomes repetitive. I've seen someone such as Sky gunged a lot, so it's refreshing to see both new models (such as Jem, Millie and Ella) and a new game / scenario. However there will always be a place for the more established favourites too

You can't put a gunge tank scene and Sky gunged alot in the same sentence haha She hardly ever loses on GTG or any other gameshow scene... Sky doesn't really get messy in gameshows... She researches every game and then wins every time! haha

I'd love to see the new girls like Jem, Mille and Belle on Gunge tank girls

I fully appreciate the availability of their customs, I'm in the process of arranging my eighth custom with Charlotte (All gunge tank games ) My most recent is currently the third best selling video on the whole umd store for the month, so there's plenty of life in the ol' gtg dog yet if the idea's good enough (ironically, it's behind the first 2 gunge dunk tank episodes )

I agree that anything that is repeated with a very similar format on a weekly basis will become repetitive.

Of course they have to keep introducing new ideas and evolving existing ideas. (personally, I would love to see a bit more experimentation and variation within the GTG format, but that's been covered before and I won't reopen that debate here.)

My point was that on the one hand the current weekly mostwam.tv rota offers a lot of assurance, predictability that subscribers know what they are going to get.
But also there will probably always be a steady, if very occasional stream of new ideas to jostle for a slot among the existing formats.

The more new ideas that are given a regular place on that rota if it is kept to 7 days will mean more pressure on the same number of available slots. Like I said, the first few gunge dunk tank episodes have absolutely stormed the store (Possibly a bit of novelty factor, I guess things will settle a little as more episodes go up but it seems a strong and popular format.) and to me, gtg is now legendary. I think both could easily justify as regular an update as any other format currently produced.

It just seemed like there is a discussion to be had regarding if sticking with the current rota, which formats and their fans lose out and which remain untouched.
