I have watched the videos with the swinging buckets filled with paint with holes in the bottom and often wished I was lying down on that piece of paper !

Snap! I remember seeing art done that way on Take Hart in the early 80s and wishing I could be lying on the sheet in a tracksuit getting slowly and randomly covered in poster paint.

Though if you're going to hang a full pot of paint from it, make absolutely sure it's screwed into a solid joist, paint pots are heavy, and you're going to want a seriously heavy duty screw hook, kind of thing that's the size of a fist with a 3" screw thread and eighth of an inch thick at minimum.
