Me and my girlfriend are very curious about mud but can't seem to find the right stuff or a very secluded place for it. So mud lovers, where do you go and how far do you travel to not be seen doing it?
From where? You've kind of left it to the entire map. Where I am has some great, deep, sticky mud, but that's the south east of the US. Otherwise, can't help.
That's why you make your own indoor mud pit from an inflatable pool and clay. You can make it as thick or thin as you want and have no issues of prying eyes.
I'm always on the lookout for a new mud pit. Mostly, I go hiking, leave the trail (unless it's an ATV trail because they churn up some of the beret spots -- but have a higher getting-caught factor) and follow the water. Stick to the valleys, walk through every puddle. But yeah, depends on where you are. Desert mud hunting and woodland mud hunting are a bit different I imagine.
