Hello, yesterday I saw wam video that a woman cover herself in gold paint. So I want to do it. But I know nothing about it. So I have two questions. First, Do you know website or market selling gold paint or powder paint? Second, How do I make gold paint with gold powder paint?
Hello. We did a shoot last year and used a very concentrated professional pigment called Mehron (available in gold, silver, bronze from theatrical make-up suppliers). You can get a special mixing liquid if you want it to dry - but for WAM (so it stays wet) you need to use oil. Olive oil or baby oil is the best. We used baby oil and it creates a really amazing colour and texture like liquid metal or enamel paint. Can take a longish time to get off again but it will scrub away with plenty of soap and hot water. The pots are tiny but it goes a long way.
In the pouring picture (it's the paint mixture in the cup BTW) you'll notice we drizzled treacle over the model as well and of course, it was repelled by the oil to great effect!
Wow very thank your for your kind explain. Your explain is very kind. You give me confidence. I will visit mehron website right now. But sorry I have another question. I saw some videos. They pour gold paint on their eye and their eyes are covered with paint. Is it safe? And to cover all my body how much paint we need it?

I don't recommend painting eye balls. If you do this to yourself (at your own risk!) I would opt for olive oil. The powder might irritate, though. Seriously. Be careful and do a test.
Only 1 container is needed per body - it's very strong but you need to keep mixing it.
Several years ago, I saw what I believe was a Korean game show with two high school teams. While difficult to understand the narrative, it seemed to be begin at the end of the competition, and - I believe - that the teams tied, meaning -
The host forfeited and members of the teams threw him into a huge tub of gold paint.
Immediately after, both male and female students started throwing each other in - culminating in a free for all where (I think) both the director and camera man were also thrown in.
One of what I consider the best, spontaneous WAM experiences.
I have been searching for that video now for years. Anyone know where it might be found?
