consider this: could you "go off" WAM? I ask this because a) I've nothing better to do at this moment; and b) think it may actually be happening! To me! What say you? Has this thought ever passed through your mind? I think - just a theory - that the likes of UMD et al. has spoiled me so rotten - c.f. with the bad, old days of trying to catch something on TV - that maybe, just maybe...the novelty is wearing off. Or maybe my standards of what consitutes a good scene are now so astronomically high that 99% of content has little effect. I mean, let's take Chega Mais, for example - such a ludicrous embarassment of riches that unless it is one of the uber beautiful ones getting destroyed, I just skip over it! So ostensibly highly attractive women being well pied - by previous metrics at least - are barely even acknowledged. Quite the turnaround!

I think the likelihood is that you adjust to your environment and so raise the bar for your expectations. I agree that once upon a time I was very excited and thrilled by a female gunging on NHP or GYOB in the '90s, and some of them do still stand up all these years later, but generally when was the last time I searched for one on YT, or tried to dig out a recording of the ones I did manage to grab? I honestly can't remember, but then again why would I when I can watch (or buy more of) the likes of Jessie, Jilly, Jayce, Leila, Kitten etc, get utterly deluged in mess whenever I want?

Plus, WAM on mainstream TV is only ever going to be a bit of slapstick comedy that we are reading our own significance into. It just can't compete with seeing a genuine wammer, who knows exactly what she's doing and what purchasers of the clip are going to want to see, doing her stuff over a 20 minute scene, not to mention the added dimension that you know she enjoyed filming it every bit as much as you're enjoying watching it.

Yes, seeing that attractive TV presenter take even a single pie in her face was amazing in 1996 because that's all there was, but in 2016 I don't get out of bed for less than 10 pies and 5 buckets of gunge...

Pertains to WAM fairly unambiguously I would have thought. Ah well. Thanks all for your thoughts. Re GYOB, I also used to anticipate that show - if it were on now, I wouldn't give it a passing thought. For WAM, there were no "good old days". They sucked (honorable exception: The Great Race, STILL the greatest pie in the face scene of all time (imo)).

I gave up on tv-show WAM a very long time ago, it was OK when it was all that was available, but compared to produced material - there is really no contest.

I have also noticed though that even produced material doesn't always hit the spot the way it once did - combination of the natural effects of getting older, and getting steadily fussier about exactly what I want to see, I suspect.

PS: Agree with everyone above, this is very much on topic.

i wouldnt say its possible as such i have 2-3 sessions a week on my own and after 3 weeks i get bored
