LOOOOOONG time lurker first time in my life posting original WAM content. Had the house to myself last night and decided I deserved to get glopped up. I started out with a big bowl of thick, gloopy green slime all over my face and head. Just completely taking a face full of green schlime! Then once I'm a slimy mess I clobber myself with a gooey white shaving cream pie along with the humiliating pie tin hat. I finally finish myself off with a bright blue pie with oreo crust right in my dumb face. I'm left a quivering blob of messy sloppy so humiliating but I deserved it
Thank you! Very simple recipe. Just 4 boxes of any white cake mix. For this batch I used Pillsbury Moist Supreme cake mix and then about 1.5 tubes of green gel food coloring, which doesn't have to be gel food coloring that's just what they had at the store the other day. Then I used a silicone spatula and blended it together in a large metal bowl. Usually coat the spatula and bowl in oil or cooking spray so the goop doesn't stick too badly. Then I just mix in a little over a cup of warm water for each box of cake mix, but I usually try to add the water gradually so I can adjust to the desired thickness as needed. I do find that mixing in the cake mix, food color, and water gradually, blending together as you go, makes it much easier to get the right consistency, as opposed to dumping all of the ingredients in the bowl at the start and blending all at once. Hope this helps!
I've done this many times and never had a problem with the food color staining my skin. Only time I have to be extra careful is when I'm actually adding the food color since it can leave a mark if it directly gets on you, but once it's been well mixed into the batter it's never been an issue for me. Obviously worth dipping your fingers in and testing it out before you dump it all over yourself. Hope it works out well for you!
