Checking to see if anyone has had experience with Globe brand Blueberry Compote? Saw a few large cans at a discount grocery outlet, but can't find pics online of what the actual product looks like; just the outside of the can. Wanted to know if it would be similar to canned blueberry pie filling (sticky/messy). I am actually unfamiliar with the term "compote." When I search just that, I come up with things that look more like jam/jelly. Thanks to anyone that can help!

I can't answer to you about this particular product but she looks great in anything you happen to dump on her - keep up the good work

I'd be leery of any berry with a reputation for staining....

Appreciate the warning. We've actually had pretty good luck with the Wick's Pies brand Ready-To-Use Blueberry Glaze that we normally use in our pies. Even used canned blueberry pie filling a few times without staining skin (can't say the same for the clothes ). Thank you for your input, though

I don't have any good feedback about the compote....but curious as to what others say (and how it turns out if you get some)

Thank you both for positivity If I don't find an answer, I may just take a $6 gamble and buy one. The downside is they are gallon sized cans which is wasteful to open just to look at, have to be ready to use it

Never found a definitive answer so we ended up buying a can to try. Hopefully get a chance during Andi's spring break this week! If it works well, may go back and buy the rest while they have it
