Yeah I came across this scene a few years ago.It was actually a stunt woman who was dunked into the vat of molasses and not Glenn, who apparently just climbed into the vat and was then submerged only to resurface.
According to subsequent interviews she hated it

But still, there is no other film or tv show that shows something like this.

this is why i find it unique.
