Has anyone worked out what the colouring is that's used in Messy Supplies Glass gunge? The packs arrive looking white, then the moment you add water, the colour suddenly springs to life.
Normally I bulk buy uncoloured gunge powder and then add squirts of poster paint, but I'd really like to be able to get the "clear" colour gunge so it looks like honey, if yellow/orange colour.
Food colouring is your best bet. Not the stuff you get in the grocery store, but professional quality concentrate such as Wiltons. A little goes a long way, and it will stain clothes/hair/skin if you use too much.

One way I'd experiment is messing gunge with slime and having both colors engaged on someone's body especially if it's clear gunge but colored slime
Or you can use small cups and use food coloring for the clear gunge and cake mix for slime
MS doesn't reveal much about what the colour/pigment is other than stating its 'food grade' and a very intense/strong pigment (using about 5-12g of pigment per 10L gunge pack).
You can buy just the pigment from MS (See the DIY section) if you want to blend custom colours.
To make it flow like honey, you'll probably need to mix different gunge types to get the right effect; such as MS VIVI-Extreme (for the stringy flow of honey) and a thickner (VIVI-Extreme flows as fast as water, even when mixed thick)
