I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble with your card provider. If it is Mastercard, they are a complete pain in the backside but we'd be interested to know which card you are having trouble with. We can do non-recurring options by arrangement which are set membership terms that don't auto-renew. We have done this with a few users who don't have a suitable other option.
