My SO and I are thinking of having a sexy time this weekend involving custard and possibly chocolate. We've used Nutella before, had sex and neither of us had any issues afterwards. This time we plan to go to the next level in 'messiness', so I just wanted to clarify something.

Would custard cause a risk of a yeast infection, or any infection really, if we were to have sex whilst covered in it? I'd rather be safe than sorry.

The only answer is "maybe." Every girl has a different proclivity toward infection, a different pH level, and a hundred other factors. If she hasn't had a problem before, then my guess is she falls in the "OK" range and should be fine.

I've had pudding; several varieties of cream (ice, whipped, chocolate, coconut, banana chocolate and caramel syrup; marshmallow sauce; eclairs; cakes and a bunch of other messy stuff up my lady friend's pussy (and bum) with no ill effects. I suspect that's in no small part to having a nice, properly hot shower with a removable shower head for easy cleanup ready to go for her.
